Quoting: sergeIt would be nice to have UPlay ported to linux. It would be nice to have UPlay stripped completely from Steam releases. Do they have UPlay in Nintendo Switch versions too?

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI know it's ridiculous, but I find myself thinking "I'd be more interested if she wasn't a smoker."It seems you are taking passive smoking threat too close to heart.

Quoting: ShmerlOh, and by the way. Debian testing has kernel 5.9, Mesa 20.2.2 and llvm 11. So you basically don't need to compile anything if I understand correctly :) That's better for day 1 than RDNA 1 (Navi 1) release.Just don't forget to check if firmware is there. I had to install it manually on Debian Unstable this year for RX 5700XT because firmware package in the repo was about 1 year old there.
Unless you just want to benefit from even newer support in upstream versions, then it's compiling time anyway :)
What have you been gaming on Linux recently? Come have a chat

Quoting: minidouHas no one mentioned Hades ? I'm 30 hours in and still enjoying it. Runs perfectly out of the box with steamplay. Although you have to use the directx version as the Vulkan one surprisingly doesn't work.I have six times more and it's still enjoyable. Good luck getting third Skelly's statue.

I was really glad to read about RDNA 2 announce today, though my 5700XT is still doing its job pretty good and I have no plans to upgrade it.

Quoting: KristianThe last time I had a ATI card(as they were called back then) it resulted in a "hardware manufacture error". Being boycotting them ever since. I will sooner cut off my leg and eat it before I ever buy a AMD card. I treat them as they don't exist and hate them with a passion. So I have been Nvidia only since that incident in 2009 and seeing people talking about problem with AMD cards under Linux for the first period after release has only confirmed my stance. What can I say, I have grudges...Hate is bad for your health, be it people or objects, you know? Learn to accept the world around you and you might see it through different eyes ;)

AMD would have to set Big Navi price around $500-550 to compete with Ampere since rumors were it's slightly faster than RTX2080Ti. I can't remember such a huge leap in performance per dollar for graphics cards before.

Quoting: EikeI really wonder why they didn't bring any Lego game to us penguins. Most propably it's because of a shitty publisher called WB Games. After such a long time porting games to Linux Feral would port at least one Lego game if it was up to them. Well, never say never...
