It's impossible to exist a system with user rating which works, I lost any hope on this. It's utopic
Look at Steam green light, it was awesome in theory: the community curate the content that will reach the store, and the developer don't need to spend money. The reality: a lot of amazing titles stayed on the limbo, while the community keep pushing meme games. Result: valve removed greenlight, now the dev need to put money and any game goes to the store. So we have good games but there's no filter, every day a ton of trash published.
Valve keep trying: the curatory system doesn't work too, the timeline system is helpful to identify review bombing but still don't fix anything - I mean, a review bomb can be valid, and some reviews "out of the bubble" will be ignored.
When I want some game, I simply look for videos on YouTube and look for a reviewer that I agree most of the time.
When I see that a game are injusticed on steam, I leave a small review to help

There's always someone to defend CSGO, but it still has a ton of issues, I need to try open it a ton of times to actually play, it can take a bit too long time to startup even using -vulkan -novid, it's too dark by default and it can't change the brightness on Wayland (-vulkan make it brighter).

I sincerely don't care about EA, FIFA is a nice game but overpriced.
What I find interesting is the fact that I've never heard of cheating on FIFA, I mean, except that shitty handicap system which is almost cheating IMO.
I hate when dev apply some instrusive mechanic just to protect the microtransaction system.
AC is "reasonable" to improve the PvP experience, nothing more.

Quoting: robvvI noticed the Amazon Games integration a few days ago and was very pleased. I have a lot of freebies in my Prime account and previously had to jump through hoops to install them. Now I just need to decide if anything in my account is actually worth playing... :wink:They give a ton of amazing indies, games that probably will never receive attention on Steam.

I'm Brazilian, a third world country. We are living hard times, it's becoming harder and harder to get games as new releases are almost 1:1 to us dollar, but we have a healthier economy in comparison to Argentina.
I understand that I can't buy new games, I just have priorities, but they hardly have money to buy basic things.
So I agree that isn't time to games follow the argentinian coin, this creates a huge exploits.
Look, sadly I will reach to politics. They have a "fat state", too much populism and less freedom, which increases taxes and inflation.
Thanks to Linux now I praise the freedom much more than anything, and to be free we need LESS state. Less bandits stealing our money.
I saw a lot of people here wanting intervention from government to control pricing, anti trust measures or whatever. All against freedom, just likes the "free" part.
Again, I'm a 3rd world guy which lives in a populist country.
