I really like the initiative, and as an avid Steam Deck enjoyer I most certainly welcome it!
However, I can't help but think they should add the feature to filter by OS or even down to individual specs if the reviewer allows it. Could be quite useful, to see if negative reviews are for a specific type of GPU, OS etc.

Ahh yes! Give me this! I am still turning on my Dreamcast to play my original Tokyo Highway Challenge 2 (Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 / Shutoko Battle 2, lol).
Ghost of Tsushima single-player only on Steam Deck due to PlayStation Network features

I have been looking forward to this game ever since Sony started releasing games on Steam. As long as the game works in single player without requiring internet, I am happy. I hate the single player games that I cannot play on the go, because I need some sort of internet connection. The fact that they say they have tried to optimize the game for Steam Deck makes me so grateful!

Wanted to like the demo, but I found the speed sensation way off, causing me to miss judge braking and traction. The gearing also feels odd like they are all the same, but also suddenly have very big impact. Hard to explain, but its like there is no difference in torque throughout the RPM range and the revving looks like neutral gear. All in all just a very strange feeling blend of arcade and simcade. Looks good though and otherwise works well on Steam Deck.
Valve makes paid 'Advanced Access' a clear feature on Steam now

I am all for it. Don't get me wrong. I won't be paying for this ever, but I don't mind developers having the ability to do this.
Valve serves two markets. Developers/publishers and consumers. This is most likely a request from publishers, who might then otherwise have released the game somewhere else. If this ensures that some games stay on Steam, I say go for it.
I say let free market forces dictate whether it is a feature that will stay or not. If people are getting burnt or don't feel the value is there, publishers will be hesitant to use the feature. After all it's also a way to get advanced negative reviews.
I can't say whether people who buy advanced access would be more critical of the purchase because of the higher price or less critical because they wanted early access in the first place.

Would be cool if someone similarly made a classic Gran Turismo-like game similar in style to this or the PS2 versions.

I just want Ghost of Tsushima now on Steam Deck / PC Linux!
Regarding Horizon, I am very curious to see how this game performs on the Steam Deck. With some minor hiccups, I think Sony has released games in generally a good state on PC and with an effort in getting them to support the Steam Deck as well, so I am optimistic.

SteamOS 3.5.7 released, plus Steam Deck Client update and Power LED changes coming

Quoting: EikeMaybe because the LE is translucent, it is more annoying if the power LED is very strong. Could be that they can even see it lit up through the shell when playing in darkness. Something you don't really see on a standard shell.which should be interesting to LE usersProbably missing something obvious here, but what are "LE users" using?
Steam Deck OLED is just pure joy - the definitive Steam Deck
16 Nov 2023 at 11:01 pm UTC
Edit/addition:
Even if the image could show all the colors of the OLED screen, the camera capturing the picture may not have enough dynamic range itself to capture all the colors of the OLED screen, leaving it to capture the closest to the colors it has available.

Quoting: SalvatosIf referring to the image in the article, that may be because the image doesn't have the same color depth as the OLED screen, causing the many color variations of the OLED screen to be displayed as one of the fewer colors of the image. In contrast the LCD screen has a lower color depth than the image itself, so there you will see the "entire" color range on the image.Quoting: 1xokThe colors on the OLED always seem oversaturated to me.I was wondering about that too. The LCD unit just seems sharper and cleaner to me, versus the red blur bleeding through everything on the OLED unit. Tough to judge image quality through a picture, but sharpness is sharpness, and the OLED screen just seems to lose a lot of detail and its gradients are way less subtle.
Edit/addition:
