I am still playing Albion ;-) This update is indeed huge with some fundamental changes to the core game. Hard to say at this point whether SBI took the game in the right direction. I am optimistic though ;-)

Staying away from EA is a good idea in general I suppose. Their business practices, how they treat customers and developers - EA is a role model of free market economy gone wrong.

BigJI’m tempted to buy the new Tomb Raider, any thoughts compared to ROTTR so far? I found that one enjoyable

In my opinion the newest, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, is the best. I think the controls and gameplay are more polished. I also enjoyed the story a bit better - but that may be personal preference

Path of Exile continues down the Vulkan path, with a possible port to Linux mentioned

Vortex_AcheronticAh I had a feeling this will not have a great start. I really hope for them (and also for GNU/Linux in general) that they will soon improve things a lot.

Why? Their basic idea is to take DRM to a whole new level. It is neither beneficial for the consumer nor GNU/Linux. Freedom at an all time low.
