Well I hope they make the Linux version more stable because it used to always break for me every now and then.

Quoting: GuestWhy people are so afraid of coding, that they keep getting fascinated by an idea of wrapping code inside fancy blocks? That effectively doesn't relieve them of coding, but just changes syntax.
Not everyone has to be writing code. You are right, this is still programming. Many people started with graphical program design tools and moved on to writing code later in life - like myself :)

Yeah absolutely nothing wrong with it. Being open source doesn't mean they can't do things in their own product. I think it's a perfectly fine to show a splash screen of the tool.
My thoughts exactly.

Quoting: marcoscodasThere are no in-game watermarks, resolution restrictions, restrictions on the number of events, scenes, and so on, in the free versions of GDevelop.
Oh the watermark was removed? That's great. Cheers and keep up the good job! 💪

Disclaimer - GDevelop is free and open source however the default build of the editor will add GDevelop watermark or splash screen to the game.

It can be removed by either paying for their subscription or, as I understand, compiling it on your own from the source.

you can now run streaming services like Netflix, AppleTV, and Crunchyroll
By way of browsing to them in the built-in browser, or is there some other feature I'm missing? Edit: I guess that's the "Add Game" / "side loading" feature added in the prior version. Question: is there any advantage over loading in a normal browser?
Well for one it makes it easy to use it on handhelds and big screen console-like setups.

With it you can launch Netflix directly from Heroic and by extension, directly from Steam. (add a non-Steam shortcut to Steam option)

Quoting: amataiI am totally lost with all that game manager.
Steam and Itch.io have Linux clients.
Heroic is for managing Epic, GOG and now Amazon.
Lutris supports everything and the kitchen sink. Use it for anything that isn't from any of the sources above. EA, Ubisoft, Rockstar etc.
Bottles is useful for .exe installers.
These programs have overlapping functions, which means you can use one of them instead of another. I just listed their primary functions.
I also use Heroic for custom Wine and Proton prefixes. No more Bottles or Lutris for me.
