Seems like they missed a very important one: key rebinding. Controller rebinding is also a thing, but at least Steam Input has that functionality covered.

Is this sddm not finding the config file? I had something similar a while ago.
No. All KDE packages get uninstalled. Including the SDDM themes, so it has nothing to display.

It did it to me today. Easy fix if you know what you're doing, but that's probably not everyone.

I'm not sure what the point is, PhysX has been dead for at least a decade and Nvidia murdered it.
My guess is that they're hoping that the open source community fixes their little "5000 series doesn't support 32bit PhysX" debacle.

Wait, SteamVR supports Linux-based operating systems now?
Now? If you define now as since like 2018?

But I'm not sure how far you'll get with PSVR2. Maybe the community projects made some progress on it, but it's definitely not something that Valve has been doing.

Was keen to try to Atomfall, but not only does it use Denuvo, ...
Yeah, looked interesting. Went to the Steam page and left it again. A big DenuvNo.

Better late than never I suppose. That rogue window started appearing in the 1.x days, so that's at least two years ago. I still consider SteamVR 2.x fatally flawed on Linux. Of course, 1.x wasn't exactly great, but everything non-XR was more or less playable. With 2.x I had to disable async reprojection because it causes too much lag (ironic I suppose). Right now I play XR games using Monado. Some OpenVR games I play using OpenComposite+Monado, but OpenComposite won't work well with everything.

So, 2025 in bug years. But what is that in human years?
