No, that's the Witcher 1 remake.

SteamOS 3.6.21 Beta "Update of the Year" fixes security issues, plus Indiana Jones and the Great Circle rendering issues

Quoting: KROMCool that the issues seem to be fixed. Until then one had to use AMDVLK. On a side note, performance of this game is extraordinarily good, rare to see such optimized and good looking games these days.
IDTech has always been a different beast.

The Witcher IV revealed with Ciri as the protagonist

Quoting: EhvisCiri was not super interesting to play in the few section of TW3 because the mechanics just weren't there.
Interesting, for me it was the other way around; before dumping Witcher 3, I remember vastly preferring Ciri's gameplay over Geralt's, it just felt way better and less clunky for me. Like I said I dumped the game shortly after so maybe Geralt's gameplay gets better.
Ciri is basically just a sword and a dash. No skill tree, no weapon variation. That also meant they had to make her somewhat OP, especially in the healing department. For Geralt there are so many things to tweak to your liking (especially in the next gen update).

Quoting: StellaApparently somewhere between the end of TW3 and the beginning of this game, she got made a Witcher (sidenote: did you notice the Lynx medallion on her? So we'll probably get to see this school in the game, or members of it).She also has cat eyes, can use potions, and signs. All signs point to her having undergone the mutations
Haven't actually seen the trailer yet. Will have to wait till I'm back from work. But that does add some interesting world building to explore. But now that you mention it, the lynx school medallion was one of the few things that was shown before.

Not surprising and a good choice. They have a lot of work to do though. Ciri was not super interesting to play in the few section of TW3 because the mechanics just weren't there. And since Ciri is not an actual witcher, they have a lot gameplay design work to do. So we can probably expect something quite different.

Should help the story as well. She's an established character with plenty of opportunities for growth and epic stories. And the fact that it makes it easy to run into Geralt over the course of the games will help too.

But it'll be many years before we see this, so my part will just be making sure I survive that long.

Not the same developer as the first game and still no indication that anything really changed. Not the most comforting sign.

Enjoyed the first game, so looking forward to it. A bit pricey for the length, but well made.

The Talos Principle: Reawakened announced that rebuilds and expands the original in Unreal Engine 5

I'm mixed about this one. I'm not really looking for Talos1 with fancy graphics as the original was fine. And since I played it to death, it has nothing left for me from a puzzle perspective. But having a little extra campaign does make it more interesting. At least Croteam are still devs that I don't mind supporting since I've enjoyed their stuff. So let's see what they want for this.

Quoting: AsciiWolfSeems like Croteam are also finished with native Linux builds now.
Yeah. Alen Ladavec was the one that pulled the Linux development there. When he left for Google Stadia, all Linux knowledge was gone.
