Peace, Death! Possibly one of the weirdest games I've played for a while

Sounds like it vaguely resembles "Papers, Please". Although there the simple tasks get complicated as it is always a fight between being accurate and quick.

Quoting: ShmerlHow long does it usually take for Feral to move the game from "soon" to "very soon" and etc.?I remember "Depth Charge". It moved up and down the radar for ages until it finally floated away. So far I haven't spotted a pattern.
F1 2016 won't be coming to Linux, as sales of F1 2015 weren't strong enough

You have to be realistic about F1 games. They're a niche in itself. If you look at the sales numbers on Steam, you see that most are around the 150k mark. If Feral can only get 1% of that for a Linux port, then it's going to be really hard to justify the investment.
Saints Row 2 is currently free on Steam, other Saints Row titles on sale

The game is glitchy. Performance is bad. On top of that it stutters while driving. This causing some of the optional races not to be fun.
So all in all, I highly recommend this game! :D
Provided you have enough power to offset the performance issues somewhat.

Quoting: m2mg2Warhammer was already released for Linux but I believe they've listed games on the radar that they already released for another platform.I don't think they have done that recently. Not for exactly the same game anyway. The iOS stuff is different in many ways.

I noticed The Final Station at 67% off. Would that be worth it?

It may work on Wine, but I won't buy it to run on Wine. So irrelevant really.
The todo list does sound like a case of an endless one. The funny thing is, maybe if they port the game, they would automatically address some of the stability issues.

I suppose I'll have to swallow my principles for once and pay the excessive paypal tax to support Feral.

Then again, I have a feeling that the benchmark is not entirely reliable. I started again today, got a 20% lower score. Repeated it a few times and got about the same. Then restarted the benchmark again and got the 20% higher value back.

Quoting: pete910Going on the results I've seen it makes little difference on CPU.There's a pretty big range in the 970's though.
If you look at the bench thread you have a 980ti with a AMD8320e beating the same card with a intel 5960, Rather a large difference don't you think.
Pretty sure a 5960 in vastly superior to a 8320e :P

From the results thread it is obvious that even at low fps, the results are still very dependent on the CPU. This suggests that a decent gain should be possible with Vulkan.
