The developers of Armello are facing a bit of a backlash over the DLC not coming to GOG

Sounds like they're backtracking on their decision to provide a DRM free version. The weird thing is, the one in the Humble Store only provides a DRM free version for Win+Mac. I wonder if they'll skip the DLC there too.

The Witcher 3 was apparently never planned for Linux

I personally think one mail from gog support doesn't really say anything either way. Not that I had high hopes of it happening any time soon. I still think they simply thought they'd give it to VP and they would squeeze out a port without checking if that was even possible. This may eventually happen when tech has caught up.

Sadly it looks like Shadow Warrior 2 won't be a day-1 Linux release

The depot information does not appear to be too useful yet. Linux/Mac depots are half the size of the Windows one. And the game does not appear to be updated on Steam yet. So I doubt there is active beta testing going on through steam at this point.

Also humour is fine. But you're not going to survive the game concept itself being the joke.

What is most surprising is that it actually gets pretty decent reviews on Steam. From what I saw on the stream, it really had no redeeming value.

Heart&Slash is another new release that's sadly broken on Linux

For me all Unity games run without issues (I don't have this particular game though). And that is the reason why they will only commit to support for Steam OS (or Ubuntu, or whatever). Otherwise they would have to check everything for whatever compatibility issues arise.

Of course, in this case they weren't actually specific about what they wanted to support.

Speculation: It's looking like Rocket League may finally arrive on Linux in September

So now I could finally have to decide whether this game is actually something I would enjoy.

Obviously we're getting a non-politically correct build!

A look at Planet Nomads now it's in closed alpha and available on Linux

Quoting: JudasIscariot- for whatever reason no matter what I try to do, I keep building a car whose wheels will spin in different directions and so I am end up going in circles.
In [TAB] mode (I forgot what they called it), you can change spinning and steering directions.

No real exploration here yet. You can drive around the planet (walk too, but who has the time ;-P), but there is no real point to it yet. At this point it's basically an in-game version of the editor with the vehicle physics enabled. Still good to have a look at what works though. Especially since Linux users normally don't get to play with alphas.

I have very few glitches though. Only when I alt-tab out it seems.
