made to wade is still on feral radar and this is not it. made to wade will likely be dawn of war 3.

really? the main problem with DoW3 has been that it's so different ...aka its not the "DoW1 or DoW2 remake" that the fan group wanted, but we got "yet" another new RTS gameplay style which is really just a mix of both + some borrowed elements of other games.

I have never played a Total War or Dawn of War game. Just don't really have an interest. It seems we have been getting a lot of these games/genre lately. Still hoping to see shadow of war or rise of the tomb raider.

fair enough you dont care/like about RTS, but you have to keep in mind that RTS and mmo(rpg/fps) are popular on PC when those games you mentioned are more popular on consoles than on PC...I do also like to see other games, like I would love to see NieR : Automata on linux...I already have it on my PS4pro..and I love it :D

I want to see more RPG's. Would love to see Final Fantasy get a port. I have been playing through the Baldurs Gate Games. Loved PoE and Tyranny. I am really hoping for a Nier port as well. Waiting on the Victor Vran DLC as well. I don't mind RTS, just not the biggest fan.

This makes me really consider switching distros. Been holding off on updates, but how long should I hold out on updates for this issue to be resolved.

Downgrading will break pacman and other parts that depend on the newer version. symlinking is about the only temp fix. but I don't like doing that and it's typically a bad idea.

Looks like I'll be distro hopping for a bit until this is sorted out.

That not what I want to hear. I just switched to gnome from KDE. Do you know what extensions are broken? I have held off updating my arch. I don't really want to roll a new distro, but I don't want to hvae to deal with these issues either.
