"Crafting, farming and looting"
I hope this bloody obsession with boring work-simulator stuff dies away from CRPG's soon :( I want an RPG that has no items OR crafting.

Otherwise it looks kinda neat I have to say!

Sunday Mag: Linux gaming news odds and ends and a quick look at what’s on sale

I've streamed at twitch [External Link] for the first time, making levels in DASH, I think I will do that at least a few evenings a week, it was really fun! So yeah DASH - Danger Action Speed Heroes.

Otherwise I've played alot of Overwatch and Magic the Gathering Arena (wine both of them - altho the latter apparently the devs might be bringing to linux in the end!).

Quoting: buenaventuraI am always on the ropes about buying CS:GO, my friends all played 1.6 and then I did some Source back in the and I liked it, but meeeh, dunno. I have overwatch and insurgency, feels like CS:GO is just too bland.

The FBI was already there LOL, such nonsense from devnull.
I say go for it.

I've been playing CS since 1.6, through Source, and now CS GO. It is true that by now it got a little 'bland' - but that's only because you've already spent so much time playing the previous iterations. The gameplay itself, is one of a kind, and superb as always.

I only have 46 hours in CS GO even though I've had it for a while - but still, I enjoy playing a match or two from time to time.
Yeah I think you've convinced me - at the next sale I'll get it! Or perhaps trade for it if anyone has it.

Quoting: GuestWhy do people always try and force politics into my video games?

I'm not American so I guess I don't understand why updating the FBI models is considered offensive to left-wing politics? Really getting tiring now seeing these political trolls everywhere lol
It is of course not offensive to anyone left wing, to have FBI in a game - but the "alt-right" likes to pretend that left wing people are offended by anything. In practice, as we can see in this thread, it is them who will be offended even at a made up scenario of someone else being offended :P

Cultist Simulator to get a DLC about showing some skin plus free updates

Quoting: FeistI actually feel a bit embarrased, that I haven´t bought this yet. Because while the theme of the game as well as the gameplay itself seems very interesting, the graphics look so very simple and rudimentary.

I´m not normally into graphics and I usually couldn´t give a damn about tesselation, shaders, bumpmapping and so on. However, that doesn´t mean that I don´t want *any* eyecandy at all, to have the graphics simply be utilitarian and absolutely nothing else.

Guess I am a bit superficial at heart. :(
Well it LOOKS simple but it has plenty of small visual flairs and stuff, ingame, its not static or anything. I guess you should look at a video, but then you might spoil some things! The audio is pretty subtle but cool also.

For me it felt very clever but I did feel a bit strange just watching various timers go down :P An occult experience!

Nice! I will get into this again now, the UI had some quirks that they seem to be fixing, and I get the DLC for free since I have the fancy edition, so yeah, NICE.
