I am currently playing HK, and it is really great, I love the text and the art, and the combat is really fun.

Quoting: LinasI don't think that "it's not a good game anyway" attitude is doing us as a community any good. If it was released for Linux, I am sure that it would have been celebrated as much as it is being bashed right now. I personally would play it. I may not like it in the end, but I do want to give it try.Well, I mean, I see GoL as a gaming site for smart individuals who use linux for whatever reason, so it is important that we get GOOD games, I want to read about good games + linux specific issues such as drivers, FLOSS software etc. We are not here to scream and beg until all shovelware in the world gets ported to linux :P

Seemed like a pretty craptastic game anyhow, who cares.

I've been eyeing Hong Kong for a long time since enjoying Dragonfall ALOT, but I've been put off by some negative reviews. Perhaps I should reconsider!
Edit: Hong Kong is featured in the this Humble Bundle [External Link] for something like 4 dollars, so I got it. YAY! Don't care to much about those other games (if anyone wants a steam key forRust, Stronghold Crusaders 2, or Victor Vran (slashed are claimed), PM me!) , but this was cheap anyways.

Urgh, what a dorky, boring trailer. And the art is pretty awful, too shiny! Still, I am looking forward to this, and I hope that inXile does a good job with the engine so that it works well for us.

I'm not sure I understand Vulkan, I presume it brings better performance? So, if I have a game that supports both OpenGL and Vulkan, I would be better of using Vulkan (when this driver is mature)?

I realize now, that Wasteland 2 was also developed by inXile, and that game DID work pretty fine on my computer! So perhaps they can do this! YAY!

Quoting: badberWell, I believe it does have 3D models for characters and it does also include loading screens between areas. That said, I read a comment from someone who did say there have been performance improvements in the latest beta build so possibly it'll run better.Perhaps they will have a demo available so that I could try it out before buying, we'll see!
