I'd say that this is fantastic news. Going by the first reviews, FSR seems to be better than DLSS 1.0 and slightly inferior to DLSS 2.0. Now, given that it's built on open source tech, the source it's going to available soon, it'll be supported on current gen consoles and three-four generations of GPUs I would say that we have a winner. Hopefully developers will embrace it and we'll get it soon enough.

Quoting: Liam DaweYou can easily access the Epic store from Heroic. When you click on the "store" tab it opens a browser window where the user is authenticated with the same token provided to access the library. I regularly redeem free games from it and the workflow appears to be the same as when you're buying (even though I've never actually bought anything).Quoting: Mumrik93One of my friends plays a lot of games from epic and he pretty much always complains about the Epic Launcher/Store, so I was just curious, how much on par with the Epic Launcher/Store is the Heroic Games Launcher? So it below? On par? or even better then the Epic Games Launcher/Store itself?Well, there's no actual store, no buying or redeeming games currently. So that's a big one they might never be able to solve. That is, unless they embed a limited CEF-like browser into it that points to the Epic Store itself.

Quoting: RoosterOh yeah, don't get me wrong, it's a great game, which achieved a whole new levels of immersion for me. At which quest in the main storyline are you at?I pretty much postponed the main story as soon as I could so that I could immerse myself in the world and do the sidequests. Especially since the fighting can be pretty brutal unless you're locked and loaded. I was also pretty engrossed with the first hours, so I'm highly anticipating going through the main storyline. The only things I needed to do to improve the experience were replacing the standard UI with a minimalistic one and add the infinite savegames... because I actually have a life. All in all those were just minor tweaks for what is an awesome game. Also it runs very well (48-60 fps) @1080p with everything at max and vkbasalt + reshade on my trusty RX480.

Quoting: RoosterI'm at the last quest of Kingdom Come: Deliverence (Proton). I really like the historic realistic aspect of it, especially since I live in the country it is taking place in. If it wasn't for so many tedious quests, it would have been one of my all time favorites.I'm playing KC:D too and I'm absolutely loving it. The nature representation in this game is stunning, the historical setting is interesting and really done well, the level of immersion is so high... I'm even enjoying the side quests. I think this game is surpassing every expectation I had and I'm liking it way more than Skyrim, which felt way more bland an generic. I can actually recall some memorable moments I had hours ago, which is way more than what I can say about most of the open world games I've played in the past. Great game, highly recommended.

Then again, as others previously said, if half of the staff is quitting over his behavior, I think it's safe to assume that there was something wrong about it that made people uncomfortable.

Quoting: GuestHe's an asshole, that's for sure, this is the conversation (not as inappropriate as you would think): https://imgur.com/a/EAHadqu [External Link]I don't know, looking at the conversation it looks like he's trying too hard to be funny and generally not too good at interacting with a person. Especially since said person is apparently a young, sexy lady who's publicly into kinky stuff (did I get this part right?).
Cancel culture is just witch-hunting, if you got an asshole coworker you can do something about it, it seems like the typical situation in which a guy is being a dick and nobody does nothing about it so he keeps being a dick and also becomes more and more stupid over the time, because nobody does anything.
I have a coworker that likes to sexually touch the people, the same day he touched me i just said him that the next time I would smash his head against the concrete. He never touched me again.
Then again, as others previously said, if half of the staff is quitting over his behavior, I think it's safe to assume that there was something wrong about it that made people uncomfortable.

Native Reshade shaders compatibility is frigging awesome!!! Although DXVK has already seen some code action to make it ReShade compatible, nothing beats native support.

I have to say that I really dislike this new library. While it introduces a few nice features (that I don't care much about personally) it really lacks customization options. There's so much wasted space everywhere and the user can't "fix" most of it. Vertical icons with missing artwork and no legacy icons option, can't hide the left panel, can't reduce the space between icons, obligatory shelves and so on. I'm not too worried about lingering bugs as they will get fixed eventually (hopefully), but this total lack of customization is really putting me off. I'm forcing myself to use just to get used to it, but I certainly wish they would introduce a legacy option there (spoiler: they will not, especially with the need to "enhance" product and events exposure).
