Well, it looks great; I just bought it and the text looks fine. I'm going to have to watch videos for rank beginners, who can't figure out how to build anything, such as myself.

The Humble Classics Return Bundle is a really good deal for Linux gamers
21 Feb 2018 at 6:38 pm UTC

Great bundle, and, of course, I already have most of them. The Humble Monthly has been good: CIV VI, Dawn of War III, Tomb Raider, and quite a few more for, what, $10/month? And you also get a 10% discount on purchases from the Humble Store.

Have you played HyperRogue? A non-Euclidean roguelike that combines a free and paid model

I've had it for a year, and it is TOUGH! It is one amazing concept; running around on a hypersphere is amazing . You have to kill monsters, and if two of them are adjacent to you, you die. Hard and rewarding. And, it's a mere $4.99 on Steam.

I had a piece 'o shit Toshiba with an A1 on it, and boy, that thing was slow. Hopefully, the blurb is accurate and that Intel might see someone gaining on them.

Looking for ways to spice up your gaming? Here’s a few games with awesome mods

The Dominions series has always been very mod-friendly, and there are dozens of new nation mods, and rule-breaking mods, maps, and other things.

If you're hooked on TBS games, you cannot do better than Dominions 5. It makes CIV VI look a little simplistic in comparison. My most played game since 2011.

I remember, some years ago, hearing about the Oculus Rift being assembled from off-the-shelf parts, and thought, "AFFORDABLE VR! Yes, please."

Boy, was I mistaken. WAY too expensive for me.

Insidia, a free to play turn-based tactical strategy game adds Linux support

Got it last night, and it looks pretty good, and has familiar FTBS mechanics with some big differences.

Hey, it's free.:woot:

KING Art may be doing a Kickstarter for RTS 'Iron Harvest', they're asking for feedback
29 Jan 2018 at 7:36 am UTC

I filled it out, and a thorough survey it is. I haven't Kickstarted a game in quite a while; the only RTS game I funded was Planetary Annihilation:TITANS, after funding RPG games.

There have never been very many great Linux RTS games, and this does look as though it will be a good one.

The Humble Paradox Bundle 2018 is a rather enticing deal

Of course, I have every damn game in the Bundle already...
