Hmmm...the Steam store page only lists Windows and Mac...I have a newish Windows laptop now upon which I cannot install Linux. Yet. It looks great, but I won't buy it for Windows if I can buy it for Linux.

The many different *nix distros can be a barrier to developers as far as official support .

This is unfortunately true; Armello and a few others would not run for me when I tried Manjaro :( . I went back to Ubuntu MATE (running 16.04 beta, and it's stable as hell).

HOI is an amazing...simulation, I guess. It's just as great as CK2 and EU IV.

It finishes the grand strategy trilogy, too.

StarDrive 2, the pretty good 4X strategy game to get a big expansion
11 Mar 2016 at 2:28 pm UTC

The game ran well until I bought the DLC. Now the dreaded loading hang has appeared, freezing at 3%. Deleting folders simply keeps the game from running at all. I notice that ~/.config/unity3d/Zero Sum Games/StarDrive2 has several of the same folders and contents as Steam/Steamapps/common/StarDrive2/SD2_Data. Is there any way to fix this problem, Liam?

EDIT: The same day, after a patch, the game runs beautifully.

I played American Truck Simulator on Linux, don't ever let me drive a real truck

I already learned from Euro TS that I should never drive a truck  ...I don't need to buy American TS to find that out.
