Secrets of Rætikon Open-World 2D Exploration Game Releases Alpha 9 With Linux Support

I've got the exact same doubt. Their website doesn't say anything about it...
EDIT: I've checked their site again and I've now realized there's an image promoting both Steam and DRM-free versions, so it is to be expected to get a DRM-free download when buying the game through the Humble widget.

Quoting: Quote from PitSo do you actually get the game via the humblestore, or just a steam key so you can access it on Jan 7 via Steam?

Quoting: Quote from LinasGhostship Aftermath is not a Linux game. The download only contains Windows binaries packed inside more Windows binaries. It's true. I found this disclaimer in their Greenlight page [External Link]:
Quoting: Ghostship Aftermath's Greenlight pageThis game will not be a native Linux port but we will offer a compatible non-native Linux version which may require some additional software to run such as PlayOnLinux or Wine.Well, that's a bummer. I've striked the reference to it in this article and I've removed it from the sales page, but it's sad Groupees didn't warn about that in the bundle page. :(

Quoting: GuestOh, it does contain traces of penguin meat.Very true, I didn't remember about Painkiller:H&D! :S: I'll include this Humble Weekly Sale in the Games Roulette section later today, when I get access to my home computer.
"Painkiller: Hell & Damnation" is sill said to get a native Linux port.

However, I agree that it's better to wait for the Linux version to come out. Depending on the purchase method, the developers can better gauge the impact a Linux port has had.

Quoting: Quote from ApopasYes, a lot of these will, maybe, see the light of Linux in the future, but if we buy the windows versions right now, we will have to buy and the Linux version later...Are you referring to the games mentioned in the Games Roulette section? If so, no one will have to buy anything later as they all come as either Steam or Desura keys.

Quoting: Quote from s_dAt least they replied to you. I also asked them and haven't received any answer. :(Quoting: Quote from liamdaweI have sent them a question to ask so we can be sure.
Yes, I did also, and Nate did reply to me. He did not, however give me permission to quote his reply here on GOL, stating that they'd need to run their messaging by the team's editors. He did say that the KS project FAQ would be updated as soon as they sign off on it.
I hate to be cryptic, but I did ask permission, and he neither said yes nor no, and I take that kind of thing seriously.
