As far as I know there is a multiplayer dlc coming. Resident Evil RE:VERSE is what it's called https://www.residentevil.com/reverse/us/ [External Link]. but otherwise that's all I know of. RE7 had what seemed like tons of DLC so I'm hoping Village has some too.

While kinda off kinda on topic, I have been playing Village on Stadia. I'm not sure what all the negativity is exactly about but having actually played the game I'm rather enjoying it. So far it's a really good monster baddie game. The game play is similar to RE7 (which I personally don't mind) and the graphics look very atmospheric and content appropriate to me. Maybe I'm a weenie but there's been a few good jump scares and feelings of dread while I've been playing. I'll buy it on steam in a few months when there is a GOTY edition with what ever DLC comes out.
Stadia is getting Risk of Rain 2, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Scott Pilgrim and more

I'm still using Stadia and am still really enjoying it. I did the 6 month sub to GeForce NOW for 25 to give it a fair shot. It's kinda cool to be able to play Paladins or Dead by Daylight without rebooting. Sadly out of about 1000 steam games only a little over 100 were supported.
Of the two I'll probably stick with Stadia because of the monthly games. Most the games I'd want to play from my Steam collection aren't supported on GFN.

My bedroom PC is an old i7 2600 with only the built in Intel HD Graphics 2000. This chipset is pretty barebones and struggles to display 3D graphics much less play games. But with services like Stadia and the newly compatible GeForce NOW I can play the same games I play on my main box only in the bedroom while my wife relaxes and watches TV. After testing both services they play perfectly fine on the before mentioned PC running Fedora 32. I'm glad I can also use this older computer for something aside a Plex media server. For me these services are perfect.

I see a couple of people playing Elder Scrolls Online. I was wondering if there was a Linux guild to meet up and game together? I'm looking at getting Greymoor this weekend.

I'm pretty sure my 32-bit drivers are ok as everything else 32-bit runs fine. I can't say with 100% certainty it's ok, but they seems to be.
Thanks for kicking around on this with me. It's always fun to bounce ideas back and forth.

Quoting: whizseI'm using an image of the original disc. I'm sure it's woefully outdated compared to the GoG release. GoG is great about updating little things here and there to help games work a little better on modern hardware. I'll have to keep my eye out for when Kingpin goes to sale on GoG. And for the remaster, of course.Quoting: slavezeoI got around to installing Kingpin again. I tried the the export with no love. I'm still got the black screen and hard lock. Guess I'm waiting for the remaster :)Broken 32bit drivers?
FWIW, the GOG release works fine in Wine (with MESA_EXTENSION_MAX_YEAR=2000).

A lot of older Quake engine games struggle with the amount of OpenGL extensions that are now exposed.

I had to use 'unshield' to extract the game data form data0.cab, the LOKI installer couldn't find the mounted disc to install from. After it extracted I moved it around into the folder the LOKI installer made.
Also running Kingpin under WINE get me the same black screen and hard lockup as the native.

I still have my original disk here, I wonder if it'll still work with the Loki installer.I messed around with the LOKI installer and a disc of Kingpin yesterday. I was able to get all the files in the right place and satisfy all the dependencies but when it starts up I get a black screen and it hard locks my computer forcing a reset. I couldn't find anything relevant in the logs about it. After an hour I gave up. I didn't expect to get as far as I did though.
