I have to say, The murder of Sonic the Hedgehog was the Tru sleeper hit of last year. It had no business being that good.

I saw the title and started hyperventilating a little. World of Goo is one of my top games of all time.

Hades was an excellent game. But I feel it's one of those where you play it through to the end, then put it down. It's not really one of those games where you rack up thousands of hours.

Hades, Hades, Hades... It was desperately difficult for me (I'm not good at these games) and only managed to get to the "end" a single time in months of playing, but the story stuck. Now, suddenly, I got good enough to start significantly moving the story forward, and the game just continues to be a blast.

Goes to show that the basic game mechanics can be very simple, and let the game be carried by the storyline, characters and skill progression.

Valheim of course.

I started Subnautica and got partway through, but now I'm a little lost as to what to actually do, so I've left it again.

And I finally got into Terraria. Fun game! but a slow burn to me; it took a few hours of frustration before it clicked.

FYI, Itch.io lists the Linux version as 13 while Windows is 15. I'm not sure if that means this isn't out for Linux yet.

Also, I bought it on Itch, but I don't really know how updates work there. Will there be some kind of alert when it's available, and do I update by downloading the new version manually? I wanted to support the devs, but Steam does make all this so easy...

I reinstalled it for the first time in years so I can try out the update once it's out.

Did you try it? It sounds like it could be either trite or very profound.

I have a hard time thinking of any "content", of any type, that has given me as much bang for the buck and as much joy over the years as this game.

I hope ksp2 would have Linux support too, but it doesn't look hopeful.

I got the impression there's no driver component. It's all a part of the game rendering pipeline. So there's no mention of Linux because it's not limited by os in any way.

I did see a comment that it needs to be applied too early in the pipeline for it to be added as a post-processing shader. The game itself has to add support for it.
