There’s a few games there that I’m curious to try via Proton while they’re free. Spiritfarer will come first, though, since it has a Linux build :)
Surprised to see that Le Donjon de Naheulbeuk has a video game coming out too. I’ll have to give it a look. I loved that audio series as a teenager, back in the days of downloading individual mp3 files on a 56k modem.

Seriously though, what is it with browser games and their utter inability to say or show anything about the game until you’ve signed up for it? It’s like they don’t want people to be interested. There’s even less information on this game’s landing page than on the back of a board game box, and that’s saying a lot.

I was quite skeptical about the single-use card idea at first, but man I love the gameplay in this. There are also quite a few ways to replenish your deck. The most fun one for me is stealing cards from enemies and even the environment, as you know exactly what you get from each type after a few playthroughs and it gives you access to some really powerful ones.
I also love how much variety there is between enemies. It's not just more HP or more damage, they have special abilities and defenses that you need to work around, and when many different types work together you have to really think about the order of operations to avoid getting overwhelmed.
As someone who prefers deck-building mixed with tactical positioning, this is such an unexpected gem.

Quoting: GuestIt’s funny seeing people angry about an Epic store exclusivity, but having no problem at all about the thousands of games that are exclusively on Steam. Not sure what the logic is.In addition to the above which was particularly egregious, Epic pays companies to force exclusivity. On Steam, devs or publishers just choose not to sell elsewhere, which is hardly Valve’s fault. They can add or move to other stores whenever they want. So you can be angry about that choice if you want, but although I suppose you could blame Steam for being too popular, it’s not like they’re purposely restricting the market.

Quoting: ertuquequeI still hate the exclusivity crap they threw last year to the gaming community, but the native Linux support is certainly a very nice pullback.I guess if you look at it this way, it’s not so different from waiting a year or more for Feral to release a port. Either way we get the added benefit of fixed bugs and in some cases additional DLC at a discount.

Quoting: TheReaperUKTalking about racing games, i bought this game "Fast Dust" that is somewhat similar but don't recall GOL covering this one.Four reviews in over a year, and their quoted review is in Spanish from a Linux-specific site? It doesn’t look like anyone has heard of it.

Now if only we could get a similar announcement for Borderlands 3 (announced yesterday to come to Steam on the 13th of March). Come on Feral!

I wonder what kind of engine they’re using for cross-platform speech recognition. Linux is severely lacking in that department.
