I could see the Proton whitelist become the streaming lineup. It never made sense to me that Valve would try to keep track of every game that works well through Proton and offer any kind of guarantee for them. But a limited list of stable, high-profile games that are worth maintaining for a streaming service sounds like something more manageable and useful for them.

The only one I picked that didn't launch properly was a free adventure game from 2014 I've been planning to play but never quite got around to. Namely Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok. It does launch with the Steam Linux Runtime enabled, but there's no audio. It's an older AGS game though and those tend to be a bit problematic. I'm sure it'll run just fine with Proton.

The demo was such a soothing experience, and the animation has all the charm you can expect from the best French animation schools. Really looking forward to this one although it’s peripheral to my usual game genres :)

Out of curiosity, does anyone else still have to restart Cinnamon from time to time because it keeps using more and more RAM? I haven’t seen people complain about that since the last major release but I still have to keep an eye on it from time to time. Still my favorite DE, though :)

A couple Windows games in my wishlist have put up a demo for the occasion, so I’ll probably give them a go and see if they deserve to hold their spots. Between this and XCOM 2, it’s not looking like a productive weekend ahead ^^
