Quoting: ZybersunSee the problem I have is way back Nvidia was the only good supporter for Linux. So I have always stayed with them, even through their stupidity. ATI, what it was called at the time, just sucked and forget about Intel graphics.I'm in the same boat. Last time I upgraded my GPU, everyone said to use nVidia because it was the only thing getting proper drivers for gaming on Linux. I have no clue why everyone is complaining about them now since I haven't had any trouble with that card except for the occasional bug in driver updates, but I suppose it has to do with the newer cards' support?

Man, this is some tasty trailer music. Does anyone know if that's in-house music for the game or licensed music?
As for the game itself, I keep forgetting that it exists although it originally caught my attention on Kickstarter. I decided not to back because they didn't have enough content to show at the time, I think. The eye candy is nice, but I'll wait for reviews, if and when they get it on Linux.

I'm still going to keep my head in the clouds and request Horizon: Zero Dawn against all odds. As others have said, not too many native options for open world first-person RPGs currently, and my god does that game look gorgeous and immersive and have a great narrative. As a bonus, no one can say they already have a Windows license on Steam and don't need to buy it again :P
I see many people requesting Rise of the Tomb Raider; wasn't that one already confirmed on Feral's radar? If not, that's a good second/realistic choice.

Nice, this will be a nice change of pace from my purchases of the past couple years if they can get it to run well and my specs can handle it :)
Realistic racing game 'DRAG' coming to Linux soon, built on Linux and it looks astonishing

Quoting: noxThere's definitely a problem with the fancybox, but I wouldn't call it buffering though it looks like it. Pretty inconsistent behavior but for the most part it only happens with the first gif I load up, and it's fixed when I move to another thumbnail and back. It also plays smoothly if I click and drag the image in the carousel view (but only while I'm moving the mouse).Quoting: liamdaweAfter click. I'm okay with gifs buffering, but they don't seem to cache after buffering. It's strange, but if I'm the only one then we'll just blame something on my end :)Quoting: noxLooks very interesting, but the gifs are now constantly stopping to buffer (even after playing once). Something is weird with them. (tried in private mode too, same thing - maybe even slightly worse)You need to click to play them now, or is this after you click? Works fine for me even on mobile.

I don't do racing a lot, but like others above vehicle damage is something that helps get my attention and I still don't own a racing game that runs on Linux so this could be the first.

OVIVO is a platformer with some rather unusual mechanics, it's also now on Linux

Break into jail and claim police brutality is now on Linux.

Quoting: slaapliedjeSo I just found out that you can search "random fortune" on DuckDuckGo [External Link] and it will generate one for you (seriously DDG has some really nice integrated queries like this). I got:OVIVO is a platformer with some rather unusual mechanics, it's also now on LinuxThere is a silly game out there where you read off a fortune cookie and add some random bit at the end like, "in the outhouse" or "in the bedroom" etc.
Now I want to say "is now on Linux"

I'll be honest, at this point I'd prefer a refund to a port. I'm too sick of the company to properly enjoy playing anything they made.
Quoting: MintedGamerWow, you would expect developers to be a bit more professional!Well, no, not Stainless. They're very much the potty humour/too edgy for you kind of developer, which I can respect if you don't treat your customers like crap. But my respect for them ran out a long time ago.
Quoting: TcheyDidn't they release a gif or something with a car running splashy on some scared pingoos, last year or so ?That did come up in last year's article. To be fair, the game had penguins in it, among other animals and pedestrians you can run over for extra time, from the beginning, and I'm not going to assume that there's a hidden message behind it since they're the kind of people who wouldn't hesitate to paste "haha suck it Linux nerds" all over their video if that were the intended message.
Slay the Spire fuses together a roguelike with a card game, it's rather fun

So Hand of Fate with turn-by-turn deckbuilder combat instead of 3D action scenes? I'm game. Does it have any kind of story and goal to it or is it just strings of random encounters until you die or complete an arbitrary number of encounters?
