Re-re-enable Bluetooth Wake for Steam Deck LCD

Hopefully that will stay enabled for some time as it's annoying issue if the Steam Deck is connected to TV most of the time.

I think the lootboxes wouldn't be issue at all if you always get things in value of the price of opening lootbox. This is how plenty of mystery boxes are working (with exception of trading cards, as the amount of some cards is scarce by design). If you just have same amount of all the items of same rarity tier and have set value for them it would not be gambling as you will always get the value you paid for.

From the consumer standpoint that is a clear win for consumers, having more universal devices that are not tied to only one platform is always a win. If the Project Helix will be as open as Steam Machine I don't have anything against it, although I really doubt it will be like that.

But as a Linux enthusiast I hope the Steam Machine will win this race!

Then you do understand. It's nothing to do with children, and it's nothing to do with parents. The people that are pushing their panopticon just want to be able to claim that those who oppose it "hate children."

I thought that Vermintide 2 doesn't work on Linux because of anti-cheat. At least that was true last time I tried it.

Let's see if they will file the same lawsuit against every company having lootboxes in their games that could be bought for real money (almost every F2P game has something like that) or if it's just targeted against Valve.

But I agree that the market is bad idea and the things shouldn't be even allowed to be sold to somebody else as that really promotes gambling. I knew few people that already are gambling with lootboxes in hope that they will drop something with a big price on Steam Marketplace.

On the other hand I would love to see an ability to sold old games from library on market. That makes much more sense to me.

The problem is that in case of AAA the marketing campaign is what sells not the game itself, but maybe they will increase the quality if the sales drop. But from my experience they will rather invest more in marketing than doing better games :-D
