I'm looking forward to this till it was announced (I finished the first game multiple times and yes I'm a WH40k fan :-D ). I played demo of Mechanicus 2 on Steam Deck and it was great, but it had some performance issues on Steam Deck. We will see if those are fixed in full game.

I was trying to order the Steam Controller for 3 hours with checkout failing for me and then it was gone. :/ Hopefully I will be able to buy it in next wave.

The case about licenses is a valid one. As the AI generated code license could really conflict with the project license as you don't really know from where it was taken.

Cloud gaming is a curse, but I expect it to be more popular with the memory prices going up.
Dune: Awakening to get self-hosted servers, plus they're splitting PvE and PvP

I originally wanted to try this game, but got discouraged by reading that you need to maintain your buildings otherwise they will just decay over time. So imagine that you go away for 2 weeks and all your work in game is gone. This doesn't sound like a game to me, but like a second job you need to take care of.
Anyway giving ability to self-host servers is a good step from the developers. Would be nice to see that with every game.

Re-re-enable Bluetooth Wake for Steam Deck LCDHopefully that will stay enabled for some time as it's annoying issue if the Steam Deck is connected to TV most of the time.

I think the lootboxes wouldn't be issue at all if you always get things in value of the price of opening lootbox. This is how plenty of mystery boxes are working (with exception of trading cards, as the amount of some cards is scarce by design). If you just have same amount of all the items of same rarity tier and have set value for them it would not be gambling as you will always get the value you paid for.
Xbox "Project Helix" confirmed to run Xbox and PC games - competition for the Steam Machine

From the consumer standpoint that is a clear win for consumers, having more universal devices that are not tied to only one platform is always a win. If the Project Helix will be as open as Steam Machine I don't have anything against it, although I really doubt it will be like that.
But as a Linux enthusiast I hope the Steam Machine will win this race!

Quoting: CatKillerSo it's the same as some people calling you names if you don't agree with them, just so you can look like bad person instead of just a person with different reasoning. Now I understand why it's hiding behind "protect the children".Quoting: ZlopezI don't really understand all the "Protect the children" laws as they are usually just a way of control in disguise. Then you do understand. It's nothing to do with children, and it's nothing to do with parents. The people that are pushing their panopticon just want to be able to claim that those who oppose it "hate children."

I still think that things like these should be responsibility of parents and not state. I don't really understand all the "Protect the children" laws as they are usually just a way of control in disguise.
