I recommend switching to X.Org, the SteamVR didn't worked for me in Wayland at all. You can do this on login screen just before login in the system.

I really like the depth in Trese Brothers games. I played both Templar Battleforce and Star Traders: Frontiers. Both of those are amazing games with complex mechanics. So I backed Cyber Knights in Kickstarter campaign and looking forward to play it. :-)

I recently installed Heroic Games Launcher on Steam Deck, which was easy because of the flatpak package available. It runs like a charm on Steam Deck and it's a nice to play some good old games on Steam Deck :-)

Why? The reason for Flatpak that I'm aware of is getting newer software, but Steam is updating itself...

For me the main reason for usage is sandboxing, games don't see what I don't allow them, and the fact that I'm using immutable OS.
