Works fine here, you likely have something blocking Adtraction.

It's working now. So it seems that this was just some temporary issue.

I need to try it on the Steam Deck, it's officially unsupported, but this doesn't mean it couldn't be played. Or try it using Steam Link.

Humble Store has a big Summer Sale live, lots on offer for Steam Deck & Linux

Quoting: ahoneybunPrey is on there as well though it's also on sale on Steam for less and it is Steam Deck verified as well:

The Prey is marked as Steam Deck verified, but from my experience it was more playable than verified. I finished it, but there were few tweeks you need to do to have the best experience.

Valve dev understandably not happy about glibc breaking Easy Anti-Cheat on Linux

Quoting: minidouI fail to see how glibc devs could be blamed for removing a function deprecated for 17 years (though I can agree a major version bump should have been called for). Do videogame devs need that much nursing ? EAC linux lib is a recent piece of software, how many deprecated dependencies do they use ?

The issue here is that there are plenty of games that are just abandonware at this time and you need emulator in most of the cases to get them running. I personally saw old Linux port that are still working in Proton, but are not playable on the current Linux machine (I'm actually really glad that the Valve came up with something like Steam Linux Runtime, because the Linux port targeting this container environment will always work in it, even when the OS under it will change all the time).

So the backwards compatibility is something that is called for. Even Linus Torvalds said: "Never break user space!" (This is why the Linux kernel is so stable and works on almost any machine.) Even if the feature has a bug, leave it there, just mention it in the documentation. Don't remove or change any call in your API or ABI, you will break things, always.

Quoting: constI've played exactly half of these on my Deck.
Multiversus is the first game in a while that made me play several online matches against randos in a row. Ton of fun, but damn, characters are expensive. I start considering buying a pack for it, because some characters do really really interest me and I kind of want to skip the work. This is a first for me, I thought I was immune to monetization schemes :D

From what I heard the characters couldn't be opened by playing (only cosmetics can), but only by paying and somebody came up with price 255$ for all characters in the game.

None of the games I'm playing on Steam Deck are on the list. So I'm the one who is messing up with statistics :-D

EDIT: I noticed that the Aperture Desk Job is there, so one hit :-D

Till I got my Steam Deck, I didn't even started my gaming machine. I can see why the popularity of this device is rising. :-)
