The Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless mouse is a great reasonably priced pick

I have bought a few G305, and they are mostly great, however they cheaped out on the switches. I have multiple where the LMB stopped working reliably after about 1 year of use. It is a bit of a pain to replace, because the screw holes are under the glued-on pads on the bottom of the mouse, and the switches are soldered in. But it is doable to replace them, and the mice have functioned reliably since swapping them out with a different brand.

Quoting: CharcoAre Valve ever going to address the issues with the official dock? I have to unplug it from the power supply and plug it back in every time to get it to output to my tv. Will this be fixed in SteamOS 3.5?I have used the dock on 3 TVs and I only had this issue with a Samsung S95B. I updated the firmware on the TV and no longer experience the issue.

I'm still glad he released a Linux version, and showed my support by backing Supraland 2.

Quoting: TheBardThe performance is definitly not abyssmal. I get 45 fps on medium settings on an old 280X.It wasn't much faster than that on my GTX 1080. On high I saw 35-70 fps in most areas and could hit as high as ~120 when staring at the floor. Definitely underwhelming performance for my beefy rig. I didn't test extensively, but lowering the settings didn't seem to significantly help. Maybe when I try it out on my RX 5700 XT it will be somewhat better.

Paradox have put up the changes coming to Stellaris for MegaCorp and the big 2.2 'Le Guin' patch

Quoting: PatolaCan't stand playing Stellaris anymore. The game changes too much and too quickly and all the paid extra content makes me feel the base game is utterly incomplete. That's one game I once liked but now dislike not because of quality, but policy.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ this is their first take at a space-age grand strategy game, they're still experimenting. Personally I like that the updates feel substantial and change gameplay. Plus you can always revert to a previous version you liked with the instructions here [External Link]

Does anyone else here suffer from poor performance on EU4 / CK2? On Windows I could run them at max game speed with good fps (at least for the first few hundred years) just fine, but on my Ubuntu 18.04 installs they really chug by comparison, even just running 2 or 3x gamespeed can get kinda choppy. Is there a fix or workaround for this?

Sure, he didn't explicitly state that it is a political document for outing political opponents, but it's what's happened everytime a CoC is adopted, and it's what's happening with Linux now.
Really? Take a look at https://postmeritocracy.org/ [External Link] (written by none other than Coraline himself)

And yes, anything that concerns project policy is political by definition.

Quoting: tuubiIn any case, you can all relax. The CoC doesn't give any power to anyone who isn't a maintainer of a Linux subsystem or module, and then only within their domain, and becoming a maintainer requires the same amount of expertise as ever. Nothing has changed with regard to meritocracy or the lack of.People who do not contribute to the project at all use this as an opportunity to attack maintainers they don't like. "Some people are saying that the Contributor Covenant is a political document, and they’re right."
If the author of the CoC admitting it is a political document made to out people she doesn't like doesn't convince you, I don't know what will. Maybe look at Opal and Ruby as examples?
