I would never advise anyone to run anything that came out of Kaspersky Lab on their machines. Don't forget that Kaspersky lab is directly run by the Russian intelligence service, and it's on the US National Security risk list [External Link]

A reminder that Enigma is developed by a russian company, and they are trying to actively hide that fact.

System76 reveal the 'Nebula' a new PC case for everyone

Quoting: ArehandoroPerhaps I've been out of the market for too long, but I find $329 for a case insane.
It's on par with NZXT H1 which comes with a PSU, fans, and an AIO all integrated into the case, not to mention the fan hub. But honestly, it clearly is more of a boutique offering, and even though I keep an eye out for cases I don't think I've seen a case focusing on air-cooling performance like that for a long time now, AIOs seem to be all the rage these days.

Loop hero is one of these games you can get sucked into for a very long time without knowing it.

As the year comes to a close it feels a bit sad that my absolute favorite game of the year, Cruelty Squad [External Link] is not a native Linux title, despite being made with one of the most Linux-friendly engines, Godot.

As GOG struggles, Steam hit a new high of 27M people online

GOG is in a bad place; when they started bombing my inbox with "personal discounts" I knew they were struggling, and I do feel sympathy for the company that fights DRM. But I stopped buying from them a long time ago because I don't want to be a second-class citizen. They provide a lot of services to Windows and OSX users, including friend servers, auto-updates, cloud sync, and achievements. Not to mention a good library for games even outside of GOG. But the best I can hope for is a downloadable .sh installer with nothing. It's very hard to justify paying for this kind of service, especially when a much smaller itch.io managed to provide me with first-class support, even with Wine.
