Quoting: slaapliedjeIs this the one that also adds ray-tracing for nVidia's RTX cards?
No, that would be Q2VKPT [External Link]

Quoting: obscurenforeignI don't really feel like messing with a beta right now, can anyone tell me if Saints Row: the Third works on Steam Play? I tried on Wine before but it wouldn't start, apparently because of problems with the DRM. (I didn't feel like trying to crack it.)
Nope, I just tried it with Steam Play (Proton 3.16-6 and 3.7-8) and it didn't launch. I was able to pick the D3D version but after that it just refuses to launch.

I'm not as excited as Liam for this game. Especially after "The Mix" live stream where they didn't even bother to show up to talk about the game or show any gameplay. I really want this game to be good but the signs aren't looking that great so far. The game is coming out this month and they are still very vague about it. A shame that Fortnite won't be out on Linux for a while, if ever.

I see that the "Feral makes horrible ports" card has already been played. Maybe it's better to actually report the issues instead of just complaining about it in here.

My personal experience is that it runs very well on my GTX 760 which isn't the newest card by any mean. Highest settings and it runs around 60-100 fps and I hope that the framerate stays that way when I play some more of it. Using the 367.35 drivers btw.

Quoting: WienerWuerstelVery nice! I hope that some AMD owners out there can report us that it also runs great with the AMDPGU(PRO) drivers, or else it makes my decision for a new graphics card even harder ;).
Ha, yeah I'm in this boat too...

My heart says RX480, my head GTX1060!
We are in the same boat indeed :D. The only difference is that my head tells me to buy the GTX 1070. AMD is heading into a good direction but it's still going to take a couple years before it's really going to be competitve with Nvidia in all games on Linux (*cough* Feral and VP *cough*.

It's great to see a DRM free release but it's also a shame that I can't play it (for now) even though I own it on Steam.
