Tried it on Linux Mint 17.1 64bit Cinnamon Edition, and was getting the following error.
"./AirMech ./AirMech: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20' not found (required by ./AirMech)"
So i updated my gcc by doing this.
add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
Game started up just fine after that.

Thinking about this game, makes me think about the Gothic Series. I would REALLY love to see those come to Linux some day.

Metro 2033 Redux & Metro Last Light Redux Launch On Linux, Sorta (UPDATED)

Quoting: volkerholthausDoesn't anyone start the game with primusrun (Bumblebee) and the latest nvidia driver. If i try this, i get an segmentation fault.I used to use primusrun with bumblebee until the option to make Nvidia run all the time was released. Either way, you can toggle between Intel and Nvidia cards in the nvidia settings window. You just have to restart Xorg each time you switch. Ive had better luck with it.
Regards
Volker

I get the Almighty Segmentation Fault right at the Deep Silver logo on Metro 2033 Redux, but i have no issues with Metro Last Light Redux...
./metro
Setting breakpad minidump AppID = 286690
Steam_SetMinidumpSteamID: Caching Steam ID: 76561197976761994 [API loaded no]
Segmentation fault
Doesn't work by launching it from steam either.
I put it in the technical issues forum on steam, so hopefully someone will get back to me.
Linux Mint 17 64bit Cinnamon Edition.

Great News! Have you ever noticed how these big AAA titled games always just come out with a sequel to a series instead of the original one? Either way.. i just find that odd. Cant wait for this though!
