This will be a day-one purchase for me, from their website.

Quoting: PoliticsOfStarvingI have a DS that won’t charge, battery’s dead and I can’t find a replacement.
I had a Nintendo DS battery swelling up on me, and back in October I rolled the dice on a name-of-the-week replacement off Amazon. This is what I purchased, and it is working fine so far: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B8ZGJWJT [External Link].

I have purchased World of Goo at least five times over the years, first for myself and then for other people. I even purchased the Nintendo Wii port - which is excellent, by the way. I have the soundtrack in my music library. This is awesome.

Story Mode for Them's Fightin' Herds cancelled and active development to cease

I'm genuinely bad at fighting games, but I do enjoy them. I have Them's Fightin' Herds on my Steam Deck and it's a blast. Great character design, easy to pick up, and outright silly.

It's a shame that the developers won't get to complete extra features, but the game as it stands is excellent.

I'm not into Counter-Strike, but I am extremely curious how well it plays on an i5-750, a processor that came on the market 14 years ago.

I am not great at this type of game, but my goodness is that a beautiful aesthetic. Kudos to the developers.

Roto Force is a rotating twin-stick bullet-hell and it's glorious

This reminds me strongly of WarioWare: Twisted! [External Link], turned into a combat shooter. I'd love to play this on something with a gyroscopic sensor to control the rotation. I wonder how easy it would be to map that axis to the gyroscopic sensor in a Steam Deck. Hmm ...

Imagination GPUs now support OpenGL 4.6 thanks to Zink

Quoting: dziadulewiczImagination is a company and competition for Nvidia, Intel and AMD? Or what's the deal here. I have apparently never heard about Imagination until now!
To my knowledge, there hasn't been a PowerVR video card available for about 20 years now (the last ones I heard of were the Kyro and Kyro II series). They license their designs to CPU manufacturers for integrated video implementations. Intel used them extensively, especially with low-end laptops and netbooks, until about 10 years ago. Anything with an Intel Atom processor used an Imagination video design, I believe. It caused problems for the Linux community because, there was no good support and Imagination did not want to help developers to get it working.
