After I ruined my system by installing kernel 5.9 when Nvidia drivers weren't ready for it yet (and somehow I couldn't boot into 5.8 to fix that), I decided to install Arch Linux in The Arch Way™. I succeeded, but now it's so annoying to install all software I didn't even know wasn't in the base packages. And the default LXDE theme is so ugly, I'll need to find one nicer.

PDF files aren't meant to be edited, and for creating e-books from scans there is DVJU. People sending you PDFs should send images instead.

Quoting: NanobangSorry, but, the EGS version? Does online play work on that?
I didn't play online.

QuoteThe actual launch on Steam was a bit rough too, as they managed to miss giving everyone the correct files to actually play it, thankfully they managed to solve that relatively quickly.
I heard they forgot to provide the .exe file. What about Linux, was its executable missing too?

I've beaten the first level of CoD: WWII, it runs great, except for slowdowns during playing video clips. I'll try its multi-player mode later, but I doubt I would find a match, considering that this game isn't even in the Top 100 on Steam. Modern AAA games sell millions of copies at launch day, yet they are instantly dead as soon as a new game releases. Meanwhile I launch 20 years old Counter-Strike and see hundreds of full servers nearby.

Quoting: EikeIf I remember correctly, they used to "force" them to make Linux version long time ago, no?
Afaik, they hired Icculus and other Linux programmers for that. Also, the first games on HB were indie games, therefore easier to make Mac/Linux ports, easier to convince developers (who probably were Linux users themselves) to support Linux and provide DRM-free versions.

Quoting: NanobangHere's hoping that this fixes Borderlands 3 at last!

Just kidding, there's no hope of that. LOL! It's as messed up as its gold rating on ProtonDB.

I'm crying inside.
Doesn't it work? I played the EGS version on launch, it ran fine.

QuoteCall of Duty: Modern Warfare
You should make a remark that it's CoD:MW Remastered (2017) what has become playable, not any other version. It seems Activision make a new version of CoD:MW almost every year, so it's easy to get confused.
