Quoting: CalinouUnfortunately, if the developer didn't plan for it, that's not possible.Too bad. I was kinda hoping I could fix it (as a user) by e.g. hex editing or some Godot hack.

Have a NZXT Kraken? You can use GKraken to configure it on Linux

So I tried this out on Arch.
I got GKraken working using the AUR. With a clean Linux install I had to (re)compile python-injector and after that gkraken (both using makepkg -sci).
I followed the git page instruction to manually add the udev rule (for the Z73 in my case). After a reboot I had user privileges for GKraken.
Thanks for this post! I needed this.

First-person shooter Prodeus enters Early Access today, Linux (and macOS) to come later

I supported Prodeus on Kickstarter because of GNU/Linux support [External Link]. Okay, they did not meet their target for Early Access. But I only feel "had" when the devs release the full version sooner than its GNU/Linux support. At that moment I really feel I paid for something I did not order.

My preference is also a game that runs natively on GNU/Linux.
As for GOG, DRM-free is better of course.
However, unlike the Steam launcher, I seem to have some trouble launching GOG Galaxy 2.0 in a supported way. ;)
That people are so hooked on Lutris makes me a little sad.

I thought the alpha release was a bit 'meh', but somehow the gameplay in this new early access release so satifying!
Quoting: GuestAlso, I'd rather this game on gog. Personal choice again. The GOG version also works with Proton:
[user@linux Proton 5.0]$ mkdir ~/.proton
[user@linux Proton 5.0]$ STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH=$HOME/.proton ./proton run ~/Downloads/setup_prodeus_0.0.7_\(42577\).exe

Quoting: legluondunetThe GUI scaling worked, but the font scaling did not:Works great, except the menu is hard to read (so small :)).Did you try "Override GUI scaling" + "GUI scaling factor" in "Video" preferences ?
"Override Font scaling" + "Font scaling factor" could help too.

2. Extract into a folder, e.g. "OldUnreal".
3. Get your original UT copy (assuming you already own it).
4. Copy the folders "Maps", "Textures", "Sounds" and "Music" to "OldUnreal".
5. Run ut-bin from "System".

Instead of putting OldUnreal 469 on top of an installation, I did it the other way around. I copied the directories Maps, Textures, Sounds and Music to OldUnreal.
First time I ever played the original UT on 4K. Works great, except the menu is hard to read (so small :)). I was wondering why I wasted so many days in my youth playing UT, but ended up playing two hours of CTF and understood again. :X
