Been waiting on this one for quite a while. I don't mind them taking their time, if it means it will be a quality port.
Codemasters Looking At Supporting Linux, GRID Autosport Possible

That would be great. Codemaster's racing games are next to impossible to get working in Wine. The closest success I've had is with the first GRID, and even then it just randomly crashes.
Desura Announce A New Embeddable Widget, Accounts No Longer Needed To Buy Games

1. Chat (friends list)
2. Achievements
3. Network API like Steamworks (even Origin is a mess here)
4. Inventory/Trading
Basically, when I fire up Desura, I am alone but online. I can't communicate with friends, I can't play with friends, I can't share with friends.
So, why is Origin not popular even though I can do these things? Origin is not multi-platform, the chat sucks(constant DC or delay), sales store is only EA titles (even though they have non-EA titles), the number one region lockers of all time, and broken games on release. Uplay's client constantly has connection problems, so I don't bother.
Make no mistake, when Desura was released for Linux I actively stayed on there and bought games. Once Steam came along though, Desura's features paled in comparison.
TL;DR: Friends, communication, and connection are extremely important, and missing from Desura.

I don't understand why Desura is not as popular as it should beFor the same reasons Uplay and Origin are not. It is missing some critical things that even Uplay and Origin already have.

Where Will AMD Take Their Drivers In Future On Linux?

Quoting: HamishWow, that is pretty cool! Thanks Hamish :)Quoting: SabunThe Open Source drivers seem to lack any form of UI now though, so there's no centralised way for me to check temps/driver version/card number/GPU performance settings and so on so forth like you could with Catalyst or Nvidia's GUI program. You might be interested in this:

Where Will AMD Take Their Drivers In Future On Linux?
30 Apr 2014 at 4:48 pm UTC
Graphics wise, the 14.4 Catalyst drivers in Ubuntu 14.04 with my HD5750 have been good. This isn't at 1080p though (running at 1600x900). The nightmare that was AMD Catalyst 2012 seems to be no more, but that's only with my limited runtime so far (barely a week). FPS still dips like nuts in L4D2, but can reach above 100fps as well. The open source drivers work with Unity games now, but I haven't actually tested them for FPS performance.
It would seem AMD are improving, but at a snails pace. I am eager to see the open source drivers flourish, as it would mean just plug and play. That would be the best case scenario. future however doesnt indeed look good if they dont plan to refresh their FX series..I agree with this. I have been watching them, and there hasn't been any news of something new from them. I'm worried.

ROCCAT Ryos MK Glow Review

Wow, I had no idea the software for Roccat was that developed for Linux. Xpander, do you have any Roccat mice? Would you care to do a review for them if you do?
I would like to see pictures of the software, how you feel the mice function on Linux and your overall feeling to whether it's a great buy for FPS and competitive play (if it's not too much trouble) :)

That is a surprise, but as jdub has pointed out above it's still pretty vague. I guess we'll see in time. If they deliver on their Mac port, it's one more step in the direction of Linux support.

It seems odd for them to not yet support Ubuntu 14.04 yetIt is very odd, especially considering it's an LTS release. I'm on the 14.3 beta drivers in 14.04 on my 2nd machine still, will hopefully update them in a bit.
