Had problems with micro stutterers. VSync (@60 FPS) solved everything. Sure, 60FPS for CS sounds funny, but honestly it never ran that smooth for me. Not even when I played CSGO with almost 300 FPS. So before you work around for a long time, just try VSync.
We may see Counter-Strike 2 release next week

So far no trace of Linux binaries. I think it will be a while before you can play on Linux and MacOS on VAC-protected systems. And let's face it, that's the most fun. :)

Quoting: MayeulCI actually just wanted to know which kernel 3.5 uses. It seems to be a 6.1 kernel. See:Quoting: 1xokA 6.1 Kernel version?6.1 had a lot of issues with DP MST ans externalités screens for me, both with AMD GPUs ans the Steam Deck. It's much better on the newer releases.

I wonder what Epic Games expects from its aggressive strategy in a slowly but surely shrinking PC market. In 20 years there will be no more Windows PCs for gaming. All that will be left are the interfaces (DX), which Apple now also supports.
One may not take Valve seriously for the Steam Deck and SteamOS. But you can also see a strategy in this. I don't see anything at all with Epic. The best thing for them economically would be to withdraw completely from the PC and concentrate entirely on consoles and smartphones. That's where they earn their money.

I have difficulty seeing any difference at all in most of the pictures. When you find the spot, it looks like the ominous fig leaf. The sexualisation remains. So what is the point of all this?
If they have a problem with their own creation, I would rather make a new game. It's completely futile to try to change this game in this way.

Quoting: R3BiRtHI've since learned, for any game that does this, to just launch the game with "SteamDeck=0 %command%" in the properties. It sucks that the game was forcing settings however. That would be a good compromise. I can understand treating the Steam Deck like a console by default, but at the end of the day it's still a PC.
Nreal Air and Steam Deck together - quite mind-blowing

It is sad that the children only find Windows and MacOS, if they can still get their hands on a desktop computer at all.
As far as possible, I equip all the children in my area with Linux computers (including Steam Deck). Modified Minecraft in particular runs much better on it than on Windows or MacOS.
