Quoting: "Purple Library Guy"Hrm. I have a bit of a problem with that perspective. So, if someone has a bakery and they do wedding cakes, it's OK for them to refuse to do the wedding cake if it's for the wedding of two gay people.
Sadly as you have been able to read as his answers, an awful lot of straight folks really don't think past their own nose and an awful lot of them will tell you to your face that they don't see the problem here ...

Glad to see that I am not the only one to get a blank page when selecting the "Steam OS + Linux" page

I hope they fix it soon.

What have you been gaming on Linux recently? Come have a chat

I find myself diving a lot into Scourge Bringer and also into Petal Crash by the way thanks Liam for highlighting that game it seems that outside of you no one seems to be talking about it online a shame really.

So just like you yeah I do dive into bite size games with a quick gameplay loop I'm also playing Shadowrun Returns for the first time ever and I'm liking it so far.

Fast, challenging and you can run up walls to slice up enemies - ScourgeBringer is out

Quoting: WJMazepasI played today and it's fun, but with a great emphasis on challenging. Or i'm really bad but i prefer to believe that the game is really difficult
Flying Oak Games are not exactly known to "be nice" difficulty wise but Scourge Bringer really opens up as you progress things definitely get easier as time goes by.

Or Maybe the flow of the game really speaks to me I dunno *shrug*

Been streaming it on my twitch channel (same nickname as here)

If you want some tips don't hesitate to poke your nose in the chatroom of my streams XD

Love the game so much i'm probs gonna end up speedrunning it.

I would also like to see Hades on Linux but I guess this ship has sailed.

The Last Faith, a dark gothic metroidvania is coming to Linux

Quoting: CyrilYep!
It's stated on the KS campaign:

And Liam did many news about it, this is the last one:
https://www.gamingonlinux.com/2020/05/linux-version-of-blasphemous-still-coming-due-to-arrive-with-the-first-dlc

But I totally understand your stance, as a backer I already have the game on GOG but patiently wait for the native release.
Welp guess I'll put that on my wishlist and wait to see if it will come to Linux then.

Quoting: CyrilNo, but it reminds me that I'm still waiting for the Linux release. :S:
Was there one promised ?
I must admit I didn't pay attention much once I saw that it didn't have a linux release I just moved on with my life.
I have for habit to not be port begging anymore because these days there are enough hard working indies that deserve all of my money as it is without me going port begging unless I really really want to play it (like lethal league blaze for example) .

It's just you know so many games to play these days that I don't exactly have the time available to ask for a port.

Quoting: CyrilLooks a lot like Blasphemous.
Which is not exactly a bad game to be compared with :)

Furiously intense ball-smashing game 'Lethal League Blaze' is now available on Linux
12 May 2020 at 12:33 pm UTC

Quoting: EgonautHmm, looking on the Store Page screenshots, it has the same levels like Lethal League. And even from the feature description I don't see any new. What exactly is the difference which makes it worth to buy Lethal league Blaze?
The game is made in Unity this time around , netcode is cross O.S , New Characters with new abilities , A TON of new mechanics , SOME soundtracks are now made by Nagamasu San (the guy who Made JetSet Radio's soundtrack )

And many many many more things I am forgetting about buuut yeah the game is a solid improvement.

mod.io secures funding to expand their cross-platform and cross-store modding service

I went on their website and there are sadly as far as I can see no mention of their licensing agreements and their terms sooo on paper a good idea but if you wanna stay 100% on the side of LGPL/BSD/Z-license/ type of licensing it's kind of a no go until further precisions I'm afraid ...
