The next version should have dotnet 8 suppport, so that's a 6 to 9 months from now timeframe. Pretty good for an indy game dev team.
Also, obligatory comment on how great this game is. Been playing it for many years now. It just keeps getting better and better.

I agree with what you say, and there are a lot of nice things about Ubuntu. I used it for almost 20 years as my desktop of choice. But right now its just broken. So many things that do not work as expected. Then you add the snap fiasco, and it was the breaking point for me. I like my applications to start instantly and respect my system theme. I like my applications to be able to print (yes, shipping labels mostly). Have you tried to print stuff with snap apps? It never works. You fix it, yay, my snaps print, then a few weeks or months later something changes again in an update and it won't work again. And the fix is different most of the time. Nah, not going back to that mess. I installed linux Mint on my wife's computer and it works way better. On my own I gave Arch a try (through EndeavourOS) and while it has a lot of rough edges, it still works better than modern Ubuntu, so I don't see a reason to distro hop and try something else for now.

Wow, it is an awesome bundle with great games! But I already own most of them, so no buying from me... but if you don't own these games, go for it. The Kingdom games are great, and Skald and Star Renegades are both masterpieces. It's a crazy good deal.

Looks interesting. Since we are never going to get Horizon Chase 2 because of that damned Epic Store eclusivity, this looks like a good replacement. I'll have to check it out.

This game is pretty awesome, if you have been on the fence whether to buy it or not, I'd say definitely do it. The C64 palette pixel art is awesome and the music is great. Gameplay needs a few tweaks to make it harder at high level (it gets too easy), but overall its a great game.

If at least they fixed the buttons order and made it like the Nintendo layout. There's no way I can unlearn that layout after having used it for so long.

Alright, that's an Advance Wars clone, it looks liek it, it feels like it, it probably smells like it too. Disable the animations and I'm 100% all in.

I love HOMM*, but its way too time consuming for the adult version of myself. It would need some serious quick play options for me to consider it at all. I can't spend hours watching slow walking and combat animations anymore...
Borderlands 4 is coming in 2025

All Borderland games have terrible stories. BL was maybe not that bad because we were discovering a new world, there's wasn't much of a story there either so the little it had was more prominent. But there's also a lot of nostalgia involved with BL1. As for BL2 and BL3 and the pre-sequel, man where those stories bad. Borderlands is the kind of game that shines through its gameplay. Forget the story, its not important.

Honestly, more of the same from Borderlands 3? The main problem with BL 1 and 2 was the wild inaccuracy of most guns for much of the game except the end game guns. In BL3 they fixed that and the gun play is fun for the whole game. Give us more gun fun, its all that's required.
