Seems ambitious but i am holding my fingers crossed they pull through.
0AD has been on Alpha since I was in college almost 10 years ago. And it is STLL in Alpha.
Would like to see a nice RTS on Linux that is complete.

Downloaded and tried after a long time planning to.
Got to say it lags like nobodies business at times.
Wondering what I did wrong or how to tweak it :(

Hmmm , not long ago Liam covered a game that looked just like the first phase of Spore.
This looks like the second half.
Seems indie game by indie game we-ll get our own little Frankenstein Spore. :)
EDIT : Doesn't mean I won't buy it once it's out of Early Access

Had so much fun on this.
Played with a bunch of friends and i have some good memories.
1.While being chased by wild dogs i run to my friend in the house and tell him to close the door. He steps OUTSIDE and closes the door. Death by dog"
2.We go scavenging at a gas station and fight zombies and we accidently shoot a red barrel. Half the gas station us and the zombies disappear in a cloud of smoke.
3. Dividing tasks with my friends (i was cementing the house) and when i log in after a day see my friend dug a hole through a MOUNTAIN. Literally an afternoon of digging to get to the other side.

I recommend Orwell.
I recall playing the first one and staying up to 3am on a work night just to see the ending. It just absorbed me in.
Bare in mind , it is narrative driven and the gameplay is simplistic. Your mileage may vary.

Agree with Tchey and madchaotikan.
I bought Towns on Steam a long while ago and that went nowhere.
I bought Gnomoria hoping for an easier introduction to Dwarf Fortress and that again went nowhere.
To be honest I do respect these devs for trying to create a more accessible or their own version of Dwarf Fortress, but they simply cannot compete with the years it took to make Dwarf Fortress the behemoth it is.

I recently saw a vid about Ace of Spades. Seems it was among the first to incorporate crafting and an FPS.
Still , this seems more like a single game mode that can be added into any FPS , rather than a whole game.
