Quoting: Xaero_VincentLooking on Youtube, people are successfully playing this game with Medium graphics with Intel iGPUs.Nice find.
So if you have a laptop or desktop with a Skylake, Kabylake, Kabylake Refresh, and (soon Coffee Lake) Intel processor with iGPU enabled, you can try GVT + DMABuf. I've messed with this last year and early this year but I don't have ARMA 3 nor care to buy it. However, I imagine the may work with some fiddling. I got the Unigine Benchmarks to work on my laptop alright. My old simple GVT script can be used as a template with slight modification.

May i ask the exact source on that.

Quoting: Mountain ManReminds me of Puzzle Quest 2 [External Link], which is not a bad thing because that's a terrific game, but I've always enjoyed these kinds of games better on a mobile platform (such as Puzzle Quest 2 on the Nintendo DS).isn't that the one that took the Warlords (Battlecry) theme at one point apropo of nowhere ?

Guessing the only issues are some dependencies or libraries.

Quoting: orochi_kyoCompletely agree with not supporting other distros than Ubuntu. Im not Ubuntu elitist but as the "too many flavors" pretext is becoming more used by some devs I prefer to have one supported version of the game on Linux than nothing. If it runs on one Linux distro it can run on all.
Having a Ubuntu version playable means that it could be playable on Mint or Arch, much better than nothing.

Stalker was a great game back in the day.
I was happy when I got a PC that could run it.
That said as others pointed out , not sure this will survive with this grey area license. I hope it does but I expect it will not.
