While I would prefer to get ports the same days, there's some advantages in this late gratification...
Unfortunately, I guess that's what we have to deal with when we have a sub 1% marketshare... :(

Edit: It would be a great relief if it is Shadow of War. I was beginning to fear that WB had abandonned Linux... Obviously it must be easier for Feral to work with a final build than a still evolving game.
Look at the bright side.
Lootcrates have already come and gone.
We get the more consumer friendly edition ;)

Even googleing it can lead to a reddit post where people figured out what assets were flipped in that instance.
The problem is those "devs" constantly change their names and release under more and more accounts.
They are like a plague.

TL;DR version : If you know nothing about a game and it feels off/empty search for gameplay/reviews
Thanks razing32, I really should know these things the amount of years I've been a gamer, I started with PONG (the game not the smell).
NP. I just saw people get burned and followed youtubers who track these kinds of people.
It's really interesting what scam they have going selling crap games to generate cards and sell cards for real money to buy good games.
If you focus on the games and miss the drama I envy you :) It's a good place to be.

I like the look.
Looks so much more colorful than BFE.
I disliked BFE for looking too much like a modern shooter with washed out browns compared to the zany fun of previous games.
Hopefully this keeps the wacky and quirky feel of the first games.

Why would they have OS requirements in the first place if it;s just a file run by GZDOOM ?
Wouldn't it make more sense to say "if you get gzdoom working this works" ?

The Endless Mission is a single-player story game that allows you to modify the world

I wonder if you can "rm -rf /" from inside the game.

Stoneshard: Prologue, the alpha demo of the RPG Stoneshard is now on Linux

Just installed the demo today.
May give it a go today or tomorrow.
Thanked the dev on steam for giving us the Linux version. Nice of them.
Also it's good proof of concept final game will work on Linux :)

Quoting: devnullBit confused by this post.. OK really confused. From what I can tell there's not so much as a youtube video showing the actual gameplay or am I missing it?? The videos I could find were all really short and primarily shown on portables. I can't find it anywhere on Steam either unless it's region locked?
Don't think it;s on Steam yet.
Could be you have to buy it from the dev itself.
And it is still in development , so that might be why all vids are short - probably just proof of concept from devs. No closed beta or anything.

A look at what's currently on sale and good for Linux gamers

Quoting: anthParadox are having a sale. There are their Linux games [External Link]. There is also list of games which are on sale [External Link] but I couldn't find a way to filter on both at once.

This is the store belonging to the publisher of these games. My understanding is that purchasing there gives a Steam key.
That's weird. Steel Division: Normandy 44 appears in the second page there, but it has no Linux version. Is a Linux version planned or something? Why would it appear if the filter clearly tells "Supports linux"?

Paradox likes to troll us ? ¯\(°_o)/¯

Quoting: EhvisGames made purely out of the assets that can be bought in the (Unity) asset store. Some "devs" stitch a few basic components together, give it a name and put it on Steam to make a quick buck from unsuspecting buyers who respond to the fancy descriptions.

Once you know, you can pretty much recognise them from the thumbnails. They're generally pretty empty screenshots with no atmosphere whatever. They don't show gameplay and if there is an interface showing at all, it's the most basic stuff you've seen.
AH I should have known that, I got stung with one of those a while back, Time Ramesside is it's name. Utter Utter tripe.
