I wish they would start curating more and kick the asset flippers off the store for good.
Too much garbage started infesting steam.

Quoting: Ryblade
Quoting: EhvisIt should be to the right of the quote button. And yes, some of the social filters take it out.

You may as well disable the blockers.
You're right, making an exemption for this domain in uBlock Origin did make the button appear. Thanks!

Quoting: EhvisThere is nothing left on this site that needs blocking.
Bull! Every website these days commits all sorts of evil with JavaScr... wait a second...

*checks uMatrix*

Holy crap. Is this the only pure website left on the Internet? I'm seeing nothing but first-party requests. This... this is so beautiful.

Liam, you are a GOD. Never change.
What plugins are you using , out of curiosity?
I only have uBLockOrigin and NoScript

Would be nice to have our own Battle Royal mode.

Victory At Sea Pacific, an open world naval RTS is coming soon with Linux support
7 Jun 2018 at 2:43 pm UTC

Interesting

Used to play World of Warships back in the day and since War Thunder's mod for sea battles seems to be delayed always hoped for a ww2 ship game on Linux.
Hoping this will be it.

I don't mind if it's RTS or direct control ship combat, as long as it's fun :)

Quoting: TheRiddickIf a government wants to install anything into your brain/head/body, just don't mkay!

I see allot of sci-fi movies and stuff these days with people putting lots of hack-able and exploitable stuff in their body, people of the future sure seem ultra naive!
Look at IoT and how much of a mess that is.
There is a search engine called shodan.io that actually shows you devices on default passwords.

Then look at PRC and their policy to link their version of Facebook to real IDs and deducing people points if they do "bad" things . Too few points , no travel , no bank account , no rent , etc.

Sometimes it feels that George Orvwell and Aldous Huxley had a baby and our world is said baby.

Paradox Interactive now owns 100% of developer Harebrained Schemes

I'm a bit worried given some noises Paradox made that Linux was not profitable a little while back.
Hope they still offer Linux support and hope they don't affect Hairbrainded's stance on it.

Quoting: LeopardThis price is crazy high to be honest.
Agree with some other opinions here.
Doesn't look too high. 30 is fair IMO.
Compared to triple A games that charge 60 + DLC/season pass, then they add microtranscations and claim "game as a service" and "too expensive to maintain".

Scoundrel looks like a damn fun 2D stealth game
6 Jun 2018 at 5:29 pm UTC

Quoting: OLucasZanellaYep, will buy it for sure. I find the lack of stealth games on Linux disappointing, so it's always good to find one that I will probably like.

Quoting: buckysrevengeI've really enjoyed similar stealth 2D games (The Swindle, Gunpoint, Mark of the Ninja), looking forward to this one!
Check out Ronin [External Link], feels like Gunpoint and it's pretty awesome.

Quoting: razing32Curios how they marry story and perma-death. [...] But to keep reaplying the first part of the story many times until you progress sounds a bit frustrating IMHO
Did you read somewhere that the permadeath is obligatory? Most games that have this have it as an extra option, but the game can be played without it.
I mean , that is what I was lead to believe by the article
Permadeath: Abandoning a level or getting caught means permanently losing your character
I hope I am wrong as I am not the biggest perma death fan. :P
