If this is real and not a scam it might be interesting but for that money you can almost buy a small 14 inch laptop that runs quite a few games decently.
The advantage it might have over a PSP for example might be it uses a standard OS (Win/Linux) so I guess no extra time to port stuff.
We shall wait and we shall see.

Some thoughts on Man O' War: Corsair, rough sailing and very little fun

Quoting: g000hSlightly off-topic, the pirate game "Tempest" did have Linux betas available, but presumably because they broke the Linux Builds, the Linux betas are no longer available on Steam. The annoying thing is, I own the game and cannot play it - No Linux build available and even if it were available, probably non-working too.

Wish they'd hurry up and fix it.

I had a go with Sid Meier's Pirates Gold (steam, linux ~ dosbox) a few weeks ago. It was a pretty clunky experience for me. There were two emulator choices (Dosbox A, Dosbox B) and they both ran at bad frame-rates, but one was worse than the other.
Maybe FreeDos in a VM ?

I am unsure on this.
I miss the ship combat from Assassins Creed Black Flag now that i am fully on Linux.
Was hoping this would scratch that itch but I do not want a pointless grind fest.

Quoting: lucifertdarkI'm gonna buy this as I bought & enjoyed the first season, I'd like to see a "mission" editor & workshop support for custom stories somewhere down the road.
Good idea. :)

I actually buy on both platforms , usually related to cost.
For stuff I play with my friends , Steam is a must since it makes joining easy.
Also workshop support is great for mod management.
But I understand people who don't like Valve and Steam.
