I just don't understand why is it so difficult for developers to put a choice for gamers to choose if they want to play some game with easy anti cheat enabled by default or not... it could be done in the Steam launch options, for example. Blocking a whole platform to run the game is not, of course, a plausible solution.

All of this because of Valve and their idea to put the Linux as the default OS for Steam Deck. Those companies know most people just want to get their hands on this device and play the games without a deep knowledge to install Windows, so, that's why they now care about Linux.

Quoting: dxmnYes, everything is okay offline, but those games have a great online experience, so I hope they will work at some point.Quoting: gustavoyaraujoDo someone know if FIFA 21 or PES 21 are using ECA?I don't think FIFA has EAC but I don't know about PES. Online play either doesn't work or is unreliable but everything offline works well

I play ALL my games using my controllers and all of them work very well on Steam: Wii U Pro, Some Arcade Sticks I built and of course, the Steam Controller. I play even CSGO with the last one said and I can even kill some people and really enjoy the game using it. I have three of them and I hope Valve will keep supporting it for a long time.

Anyways, I have 3 Steam controllers. They are awesome, I can even play some FPS games on it and the experience is good. I hope they will still support the controller with softwares like the one in the big picture mode and also I hope the SC controller app will be still maintained.

Quoting: EhvisAnother demonstration of how broken the patent system is. There nothing in that patent that isn't entirely trivial. Basically "let's put a button where an unused finger rests". I'm surprised that Valve's lawyers didn't manage to get this thrown out because I highly doubt that this is original.Totally agree. It doesn't make sense.
