I'm using Steam Snap and it has worked just as well as the regular one, even though beta. I like the idea of running Steam in a sandbox!

Last time I tried, it gets to the menu but then gets completely stuck trying to go in-game. This is despite having a "gold" rating on ProtonDB.
You may be "doing it wrong": this is a native Linux game. No Proton required!

It is likely that the game will be on Steam some day, but I currently see no urgency for this.
Good to hear! But to be blunt: we users kinda have a huge urgency for Vintage Story to be available on Steam :wink: i mean, what would you lose for putting it out there? Or maybe i'm just a damned simpleton.

This caught my attention because i have never succeeded installing anything in Bottles. I hope this means it's more intuitive to also install games. I don't know if i'm dumb, but i cannot wrap my head around how to use Bottles :neutral:
