Like I don't understand why compiling Rust implying all of that and not when compiling C (and maybe the question could be ask for Go code or another language I don't know).
What are the differences, and why? Is it fixable?

Quoting: LinasWow, this is a big can of worms to open.Ah yes... The Golden Age.:whistle:
If they allow software that changes the behavior of Steam (e.g. plugins) on the store itself, it would surely open up a lot of possibilities, but also ripe for abuse.
I would hate to see Steam become this:

Quoting: BigRob029Same.The Other Zoom doesn't exist, we don't talk about it...
They've been around for 10 years and we've never heard of them.
Maybe because they're the other, OTHER, Zoom.
I'm very interested; it is great to have another Linux-friendly platform!
....that will probably be the successor to GOG.
Quoting: blindcoderI have never heard of this platform before. Sounds like GOG, when it was still "Good Old Games".
I'll have a look, thanks!

Quoting: LinasAliens: the most misunderstood creatures. :sad:Quoting: robvvIn the original Alien: Isolation there was a small change you could make to one file to ensure that the alien didn't hunt the player. The alien just wanted to be your friend and give you a hug.

Quoting: EikeWow, you must be very lucky...Quoting: RandomizedKirbyTree47Every single campaign I backed either delivered everything they promised, or is in the process of doing so and making steady progress. A few projects I backed were delayed a few years before eventually delivering the rewards. I have never been ripped off by a Kickstarter I backed.I can say the same for my nine backings...
Quoting: RandomizedKirbyTree47I have never backed a crowdfunder for a video game and I have no plans to do so. There are so many ways it can go badly and so many already-existing games I can play that I just don't want to take the risk.... which are all video games supporting Linux.
