Oh... Damn. OK that's it, Kickstarter etc won't see my money anymore, it's definitely over.
As a backer of the campaign I'm "mad", but that's just the end of it at least, now I can forget this game.
Don't forget:
GOG support? dropped
macOS version? dropped
Linux version? dropped
What a mess...

The first one is available on GOG, but with that account requirement I doubt Ragnarök will be there. And Sony won't change that, so yeah, sad.
29 games are getting delisted from GOG

It happens on Steam too. But in the end, Steam or GOG doesn't matter, it's just sad for us: the players.
Again: unfortunate for the players.

Quoting: Cyba.Cowboyand it's not uncommon for them to delist games (hell, half my library has been delisted!).
Quoting: StellaGood Old Games? More like Good Delisted Games…You know it's not GOG's fault for these delisted games, right?

Quoting: Cyba.Cowboyand there is a HUGE list of games that have a Linux version elsewhere, but not on GOG.com.Not GOG's fault either... Guys, of course you can have gripes against the lack of Linux client and so on, but please let's be honest there. When for example a solo game on GOG lacks of Linux/macOS versions, it's clearly the dev/publisher's fault, not GOG, there's no excuse to not upload it when some other achieve it... And yes I hate that too.
Again: unfortunate for the players.

These 3 Resident Evil games are/will be only available at GOG at the moment, Linux support is not really the topic IMHO...

Quoting: dziadulewiczWhen GOG starts properly supporting Linux as an equal to Spydows, releasing an official Galaxy client for Linux for starters, THEN i will reconsider putting some money for them. You realize that saying this here is really off topic, do you? Except if you say it in every GOG related news?
Currently 100% goes to Steam because they embrace Linux

Remember the HELLDIVERS 2 case some months ago?
I don't remember who, but someone said like that they will not abandon it permanently and every new PC port of their games will probably have this. And here we go...

It's not a lot, but it's something.
But sure, keep in mind that they have to be open minded in the first place and/or a bit curious about the whole thing and why it matters etc...

Quoting: pleasereadthemanualBut then, I've never successfully inducted a new member myself, so I might just be talking nonsense. To be fair, I've never tried. As for me, I did that successfully for some people (I'm not talking about gaming only).
