We have several original IP's that we will be bringing to the platform in 2017
What exactly do they mean by "original"? Stuff they will be creating from scratch, or existing franchises that just haven't made it to Linux yet?
I would assume they mean games not on linux but it would not surprise me if they acted a publisher for so me indie titles.

Quoting: Luke_NukemI would trade this a thousand times over for a naive Doom 4 port, with Vulkan...

Not likely though unless the whole board of Bethesda and ID get replaced in the next 24 hours.

Quoting: GrazenOuch! $60USD is usually converted to $80 for Canadians, I really want to pick this up for Linux... but I know that this will have a 50% discount before I get around to playing it...
Remember its 60 for the full first season if they are offering per episode its 10 bucks so you can see if you actually like the game before planting the cash down also if you can get through the epilogue in about 1 hr 30 minutes so in plenty of time for the steam refund window.

Quoting: PlintslîchoAnother great and prestige release by Feral, much respect.

I, however, wouldn't touch another Hitman title by IO Interactive/Square Enix after the huge disappointment that Hitman: Absolution was, story wise as well as gameplay wise. I'd rather wish that Blood Money gets released on GOG.com eventually.
Dissapointed by Absolution really I personally loved it. The extremely weird sisters level was pointless but enjoyed the rest of the game.

Yup blows my mind there are so many games on liunx now i remember back just five years ago it was quake 3 or games based on dark places engine and mostly crappy indie games. Now we actually get triple A releases not all of them but a fair number finally giving some people a reason to delete that windows gaming partition.

Quoting: ExpalphalogI loved the first few Hitman games. They have always been the standard by which I judge all FPS's. I normally can't stand FPSs but the closer they are to Hitman, the more I enjoy them.
I thought all the Hitman games were third person.
mostly third person you can go into fps mode in a couple of the games however

Now, Feral, be good and port Rise of the Tomb Raider if you want my money.
Kind of doubt it first episode on windows was just shy of ten pounds/dollars then each episode was 6/7 pounds/dollars be cool if they did though.

Quoting: Whitewolfe80You can keep hoping but Witcher 3 is not happening
Why do you think so?

I agree there's no hope for CDPROJEKT to port it themselves, but why wouldn't they license it to a third party developer?
For many reasons one if they were going to do it they would of done it when they released the game of the year edition. Secondly community reaction to the Ion port Witcher 2 it got battered cd projekct got bombarded with complaints about the port they really did not have anything to do with. The big one though is the way that linux publishing works it a little different from software company to software company but essentially they pay for the port be via royalties on every copy sold or a flat fee.I believe Cd have looked at the costs of hiring Fereal/Aspyr to do the port and the number of sales they project and decided that it does not make financial sense. I hope am wrong but i just don't think they see it as viable if it were to come to linux am guessing it would be on licence fee and then it would be up to feral/asypr to decide if worth it.
