Mmm so far anything tempting i already have but if people havent picked it up yet Tomb Raider 2013 version is 2.24 gbp Mad Max is on sale again as well as Bioshock infinite Indie wise Enter the gundegon 5.25 and hotline is just over a pound. Owlboy still to expensive for my tastes but good game none the less.

Quoting: ShmerlYes but i can tell you immediately why DRM exists, Companies like money staff are fond of being paid too. If you release a game drm free on gog i can tell you for a fact it is up on torrent sites day and date and yes even the linux version have been going up lately too. I know this as one of the parts of my job is to monitor several torrenting severs to see what has been uploaded and how often and when gog launch a new game it typically gets uped exactly 5 hours after being avilable for purchase.Quoting: orochi_kyoIt so easy to come here and sound like a popular guy between these selfish human beings who thinks devs doesnt have the right to have a minimal protection of their intellectual property.I'm not interested disproving this nonsense for the Nth time already. I'll just sum up key points:
1. DRM doesn't protect any property, but it violates users' rights because it's unethical overreaching preemptive policing.
2. Reasons for using DRM aren't related to increasing sales, because in practice DRM only decreases them.

I think the Linux is a neutral platform to push out to other platforms yeah if you dial in vulkan to linux there is minimal work required to tweak the games to push it out to windows and android (if capable) Apples insistance on using Metal rather than straight vulkan is going to end up to bite either Linux or Mac in the ass currently happily its Apple so thumbs up there.

Quoting: BeamboomWould be interesting to read an explanation as to why. For all we know there might be good reasons. Yo Feral guy who hangs here, care to elaborate? :)I would guess its down to the original contract feral have permission to port it to one platform ie steam and having gog version would reguire a different longer term licence.
(not that it matters one bit for me personally, I want all my games in Steam anyways)
Total War: WARHAMMER II confirmed for Linux, to release later this year

Quoting: dubigrasuSo what was the connection between the radar's clue and this game?I guess they are tieing it to choas and the skull throne of khorne but for whatever reason proud seat has dissappeared from fereal radar so personally annoying as although its a triple a game its one that was announced as coming to linux months ago before going silent. I was kind of hoping for an out of the blue game like hellblade or maybe even the two criminal origins games since they are ip owned by sega who have proven to be linux friendly.
Beep boop the Feral Interactive port radar has a UFO sighting for a new Linux port

Quoting: scaineYeah, I bought the Warhammer games out of loyalty, but absolutely zero interest in Total War games. They must be popular/sell well, though, given that Feral have been pretty loyal to them.Thing is total war is a triple a game from a triple A studio and its the only reason we got Alien Isolation was because creative assembly UK was the studio that signed the deal to allow feral to port the games with permission from Sega as their publisher. I personally love the games but i get they are not to everyones taste, some people find them to slow paced and thsts fine. Yeah i have complained there are not enough triple a games this year but yeah compare now to seven years ago without steam and people were excited when a new dark places engine game dropped.
I'll stick to the big AAA single-player games they churn out, like the Tomb Raiders, Life is Strange, Hitman and Deus Ex. Goddam, it's so good to have stuff like that on Linux.
Sometimes it just hits me too. "THESE GAMES ARE ON LINUX". I mean... LINUX?? Holy crap! Remember just five years ago, we were excited about a new Humble Bundle that had a Limbo port! Look where we are now!! Incredible.
I mean... seriously: https://www.feralinteractive.com/en/linux-games/ [External Link]
Mind-blowing.

Quoting: cprnWait... Are they going to offer this to developers for purpose of Steam distribution? If so, sounds interesting. If not, I don't get it. How are they going to distribute Flatpaks of copyrighted titles?Possibly the way lutris does it you have to link your steam profile at some point so you can only play the games you have discs/steam licence for.
