BulletRage, a completely over the top twin-stick shooter will release with Linux support later this year

That looks absolutely insane! Very fond of this kind of game and 1-4 player co-op is just superb news. Will be wishlisting this for a purchase on release, methinks.

Stack Gun Heroes gives you a gun that can be modded during combat, superpowers and lots of explosions

Looks superb. The stacking interface is a bit daunting, so hopefully they'll have some kind of learning curve/tutorial to ease in new players.

GamingOnAmiga.com. Considering the Amiga/ST days were prior to PS2, that means this game was written for an Amiga emulator after the original Guitar Hero launched??

That video was utter, utter nonsense. There's no way anyone can play this at that kind of speed and nail 100% solos like that. Or if you could, you should be full of regret for a wasted life... :)

Looks like Love in a Dangerous Spacetime [External Link], only more frustrating... I'm sure it'll be a blast with a few mates, but as a single-player experience, probably rage-inducing!

Albion Online turns one, it's getting a 'massive overhaul' of open-world PvE which sounds good

I lost interest in AO after the beta, partly due to the awful launch, but mostly because PvE went down the tube with so many players. You could spend hours waiting for a decently stocked dungeon and once you found it, within minutes there were five other teams clearing it out with you.

Total mess. I enjoyed the beta though. Might try it again if they truly fixed PvE, but I think it's already too established as PvP. As in, that's the only way you can make any kind of decent progression. I hate to be pessimistic, but I suspect that it'll be way too little, far too late.

Feral Interactive have no plans to put their Linux ports on GOG

Quoting: namikoI'm more upset that you thought it was necessary to bring out the big guns instead of trying to talk things over reasonably. I'd still like to try talking reasonably if you're also willing.
I'm a wee bit confused by "bring out the big guns". Do you mean Liam restating the "no personal attacks" just there? I don't think Liam has ever stated that you can't bring your opinion to the table. Hopefully this is a misunderstanding of Liam's intent - not to berate you specifically on your last comment, but to be clearer about why he was unhappy with the original comments. The ones you've already said are now behind you, which is great.

Unlike most places on the internet, I've personally found GOL to be an incredibly reasonable place. And it's that way because of Liam's moderation, in my opinion, unlike so many places that are toxic because of the moderation (looking at you, /r/linux... and most Steam forum pages).

Not to say I haven't fallen out with Liam myself of course, but that was a couple of years ago now and I still think GOL deserves the patronage I give it.

Egosoft have confirmed that X4: Foundations will be on Linux

All this talk of X4 inspired me to take the plunge on X3:Rebirth. Voice acting is a bit rusty, but the gameplay (so far, 3 hours in) is excellent. Really enjoying it - surprisingly beautiful graphics considering it was originally launched in 2013.

I really enjoyed X3, but the learning curve was a bit brutal. Hopefully this retains the incredibly open mechanics of their previous games but smooths out that difficulty. Will be picking this for sure.

Any news on release?

Twin-stick shooter 'NeuroVoider' is now on GOG

Neon Chrome is just superb. Slightly disagree about the pixel graphics here - I like a certain level of pixel graphics, but some games take it too far. Dead Cells? Superb. Telefrag? Muddy, jumbled mess. I quite like the look of this one. Like Nuclear Throne, but with more randomised loot. I wonder if it has multi-player? Could be a winner for me if so. Always on the look out for a new Hero-Siege-like game.
