I don't even know what kernel level means in the context of wine/proton.

Littlewood? It was cold and I got pantsed. We can stop bringing it up now.

Come tell us about what you've been gaming on Linux lately

Been playing AssCreed Odyssey and Life is Strange 2.

I don't have Doom Eternal m'self, but if anyone's interested, here's a script to downgrade it to the pre-Denuvo-anticheat version.

Microsoft president admits they were wrong on open source

Going to stick to my prediction that one day after Microsoft have converted all their software to cloud-based services, they'll be shipping their own minimal Linux distro on some low-powered device.

To make it worse, the game's launcher makes it not even launch via Proton.

Heh, don't take this too seriously, but I find the tag "NSFW" amusing. Are there any games that are "safe for work"? I imagine even Candy Crush would get you in trouble.

If it were something I'd want to play, I'd probably buy/play through UPlay/Wine directly, rather than the EGS store or Stadia.

Order of preference is:
UPlay direct purchase
EGS Store

Quoting: M@GOidThe price of this game is very high here in Brazil. How much it is in the US?
Currently $22.49 on Steam with a 10% discount, but there's no price listed on Humble yet. Google says that equates to 122.34 in Brazilian real. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't know that's what your currency is called.
No need to be ashamed. I for one have no idea what is the currency of the majority of Brazil's neighbors...

Brazil is one of those countries where Valve do a price reduction relatively to the US Dollar conversion, because selling games at full price would drive people to piracy.
Region-specific prices are actually set by the developers/publishers themselves on a per country basis manually.
