I have a great solution for the non-cross-platform-multiplayer woes. Get your friends to all install Linux. ;)

Quoting: cRaZy-bisCuiTEven though this is a new engine no cross platform multiplayer? Are you joking Feral? Hold of buying their multilayer games until that attitude is fixed!!!
It's not "attitude", there are legitimate reasons for it. Maybe you should fix your attitude.

You are correct that it is a turn-off for a lot of people, though. Myself, I'm generally not too into multiplayer anything, and would love to see bigger focus on games with strong single player or single player only.

There's another 'Life is Strange' on the way

Quoting: GuestI bought and tried playing that game but found it so boring. What am I missing here?
Nothing. Taste is subjective. It just wasn't something you enjoyed. That's fine. Others, like myself, enjoyed it a lot. This is fine too.

Excellent bundle. I'll have to wait for the "+more" though since I already have everything on the list except Owlboy.

Looks like Rome: Total War might be coming to Linux, according to Feral's port radar

Total Car!

I want this game. Armies of Mad Max styled vehicles charging at one another across the wasteland.

Quoting: HollowSoldierThe next big thing will be everyone calling Linux (distros) an RTS OS. What's the last time a non-RTS game was released. Deus Ex maybe? (Indies don't count.)
Hitman
DiRT Rally

Quoting: michaI can't keep wondering whether it just was comparably little effort to port or if there's another reason to choose a 6 year old game with plenty of similar ones available.

Probably the first Feral ported game I won't buy. At least not without a massive sale. :-/
I'm guessing because it was highly requested, being among the most highly rated games in the series.

I already own it but it's one of the games I miss most since going Linux-only. And like others have said, I can always buy some DLC.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleBah, it's not recognising my Logitech Driving Force GT.
It's listed in the controller descriptions file.
I saw it there, but it still doesn't work for me.

Quoting: KimyrielleI skipped on Victor Vran because I am not too eager to play games that force me to play a male character, at least not unless premade female characters become just as normal.
As @Xpander was pointing out, how can you apply it to any defined story character? It's one thing if you have a generic character builder in a flexible RPG, but it's another thing if some story aspects are locked. Do you also refuse to play any adventure game, because they don't let you selecting the character? Games can be quite different in this aspect.
Victor Vran as a character is about as "defined" as a dead insect smear on a car windshield. And how does "story" figure in the multiplayer?

Either way, if someone says they don't like playing a game because of whatever, it's nobody's job to argue with them.

Bah, it's not recognising my Logitech Driving Force GT. Odd since it works fine with other Feral port, GRID Autosport. I was very tempted with the 70% discount, but might have to give it a miss.
