Quoting: Crazy Penguin
Quoting: zacH... I was hoping they'd bring back Dustforce or something. We still don't have that officially on Steam, despite it being in an older bundle. :(
Dustforce is available on Desura and in the Humble Store.
Do we really have to have everything on Steam?
My priority is still DRM-Free. Steam is nice to have.
Yes we should, some of us only like to use steam. While I like having DRM free for backup purposes, I pretty much only use steam to play games. I prefer steam to manage my games.

Quoting: FutureSutureI find it odd how Oxeye Game Studio is considering ditching Linux when Linux has been selling three times as many units as Mac OS over the past year and has almost caught up to Mac OS in overall sales as well. Might as well ditch Mac OS too, no?
I'm pretty sure they were implying they would be going Windows only.

Quoting: WotanspI mean what's the point of selling something you don't know how is it going to evolve? Is this just a stupid experiment that we are all funding? Once and not more, that won't happen again, at least not with my money.
Thats how minecraft started and it turned out great.

Linux Game Sales Statistics From Multiple Developers Part 2

Quoting: DrMcCoyHow exactly are they counting the platform of Steam users?
Initial download? Time the user spents running Steam on a platform? What if someone downloaded using Wine first? What if they didn't download the game at all?
I wonder the same thing, as I have purchased many games on windows but I play them later in linux. Or if they are only available for windows at the time of purchase and ported later than I dont get counted as a linux user as well.
