You should really update/change your description of the ScummVM runner, though. ScummVM runs more than just LucasArts and SCUMM-based games. :)

Oh, also, the Steam version is updated.
No idea if it does include the "30% more story" announced, but the version on Steam doesn't load the save game from the non-Steam version; and Ren'Py has been updated.
So far, the website still hosts the old version.

Puppy Games Aren't Impressed With Linux Sales (UPDATED)

Yes, yes, I read your whining in the RPS article a month ago as well.
While Hyeron here is an entitled idiot, so are you. You deserve each other.
You told people the "facts". Yes, right, the facts and figures that leave out Humble Bundle and regardless don't add up no matter how you look at them. And really, "10x the amount" is obviously a ridiculous expectation, especially since the money you put into the port and GNU/Linux support is so miniscule in your case.
I get that you have to pay your devs, have to eat and pay rent and other bills. That you don't get by with your game is sad, but you're not alone in that. A lot of indie devs are in the same boat, and it sucks. Have you, for example, read the break-down of the Unrest devs [External Link]? That is devestating and sobering.
Now blaming Linux users on not dropping enough money on your games is quite silly. And I personally feel a bit miffed too, since you did get my money a few times through bundles (and no, I didn't just pay $1), even though I don't really have any interesting in your games. I never installed them, even, they're not my cup of tea. I didn't cost you any support, either. I'm basically your ideal customer: I gave you money for nothing.

Outlast, A First Person Horror Game Looks Like It Will Come To Linux

And in an earlier update, they said that the alpha is "well under way" and will go out "to VIP backers early in September". A more advanced preview that'll go to press outlets will be made available to all backers later this year. A final release date will probably be announced by then; they're "worst case scenario is mid-2015".

I also already own all their games thanks to the Humble Bundle, so they got money out of me.
I never once installed one of them, though, since they're not my cup of tea.

Those Mercurial files (.hg directory and .hgignore file) inside the git repository also make it seem thoughtlessly thrown together.

Yeah, I don't see a license either.
And the PDF in the documentation says something about $300 for access to the source code?
So unless I'm missing something, for now, this code drop is completely unusable.

Seriously, give the game a try. It's not only a lark on dating pigeons, there's is more to that story. :)
Really, it's a damn great story.
