I think you made a mistake there: Richard & Alice does not run natively on GNU/Linux. Quoth the devs on the Greenlight page: "Sadly, it's a limitation of the engine we picked - easy to build games, not so much to port them. However, you can get R&A running on Linux via Wine".
EDIT: Argh, I should probably continue reading the next sentence before complaining next time... Sorry, my bad.
I didn't know that R&A uses AGS. And interesting to note that the R&A devs don't know about the Linux port.

Valve Announces New Controller For SteamOS, Steam Controller

Eh, I really don't think a gamepad, however it's shaped, will ever be non-awkward for FPS.
But okay, I'll hold my judgement there until I got a chance to try it, even though I for one don't want a gamepad for FPS.
Still, with that touchscreen there, I doubt I can get that thing for anywhere near the 20€ I paid for my Logitech gamepad, right?

Wow, this is the ugliest and stupidest thing I've ever seen and heard.
And I'm even not that hostile to gamepads in general; I've got a Logitech Dual Action I like to use for certain games...

Disappointing announcement: Very low on actual facts.
New distro? Based on an existing distro? On what architectures and peripherals will it run? Old stable kernel? New kernel? Wayland? Mir? Will users be able to fiddle with the system to their heart's content? Will it include ScummVM/ResidualVM/GemRB? FLOSS games? How often do they plan to update the packages? Audio directly using ALSA or some crap like pulse? --verbose on "freely licensable", please.
And those are just the questions I got during the first 5 minutes of reading this "announcement".
